Yes... Macs are PCs (personal computer) PC does not exclusively mean Microsoft even though that's what most think.
The term PC was around before Microsoft was even founded. PC became to be known as Windows/DOS etc.. because at one point Microsoft pretty much dominated the computer hardware business.1 -
