Did they change what you can launder?

As an RP'er, once in a while, I come across an item during my 'borrowing sprees' that fits my character well, and I'll launder it and keep it in their inventory just for fun. For example, my bard khajiit has some claw sharpeners and a rosewood lute. No use for anything except little trinkets I thought she'd like.
I'm working on a different character, and I thought she could use a pocket knife. I've laundered this item before on another character, so I know it used to work. But when I tried to launder it (and it does show up in the laundering list), I just got an error noise and this message:
Laundering at Fence not allowed [Pocket Knife]
Are they moving towards making us unable to launder cool things? That will make me sad...

✭✭✭✭✭More than likely it's a glitch in the item's or it's category. Send a /bug report in on it so they can fix this next patch (or some indeterminate patch in the future)
Of course, once they fix this, you will pick up a Laundered Shipment reward that has 10 of them in it. I know I did the other day but I was not looking for pocket knives.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭✭The only stolen items I know of that you shouldn't be able to launder are the gold items from Kari's Hit List... Everything else stolen should be launderable (I might have just made up the word launderable).

You also can't launder stolen shipments. It's possible the items you pull from a stolen shipment are similarly restricted, though I never bothered to check.0 -

✭✭What I'd like to know is why I can no longer sell more than one stack of 10 items to the fence now.It's been happening for over three days now.I keep waiting to fence my shipments,but cant anymore.
I thought it was because I was selling stacks,as someone pointed out to me.But,now I cant even sell more than one stack of ten.This is the lowest limit I have ever had.Before i could run around Orsinium and loot everything,then fence it all.No longer.
