We need a beast taming skill line.

Make it a world skill line: Taming.

Either have it be nothing but passives that you invest in so you can tame better pets. Start with fox and dogs, upgrade to coyotes and forest cats, then ultimately to lions, bears, crocodiles, wolves, etc. Then other passives that increase the power or usefulness of said pets.

Maybe put in some actives that give the beasts abilities, but make one active be the "tame" ability where you need a reagent of some kind for each pet you'd like to tame.

I think it would be pretty nifty.

They could make another world skill line, and they probably will. Yet I don't think they would add a taming beast skill, that's too much 'WoW'.

I run a mod on every Elder Scrolls game that makes healthy animals passive. I never liked killing animals in games.

For some reason, I don't mind in this one, unless one of my pets is with me.

However I don't know if they could build an entire Skill Tree around it. Well, we could have a Beast Master line where we can have the animals fight for us. But the balance issues would be a trick to figure out.

Then again, there are not all that many animals in Cyrodiil to begin with.

I dunno, I think this is better suited to a single player game rather than an MMO.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Eh a work around would be a skill tree tied into quests. Ex: to unlock first summon fox, go do quest A. To morph 1 choose option 1 in quest B, to morph 2 choose option 2 in quest B etc...

It could be implemented the same as the WW or vamp skill lines. Non-existent until activated by whatever in game trigger (like a druid out in the wilderness)

First off their is no "we"

seconds as said many many many many MANY times before. No. ZOS needs to fix and balanced the 4 classes already in the damn game first.

There will probably be some animal summoning spells in the spellcrafting. Should we ever see it.
