Plee for 10-man battlegrounds addition in one of the next DLC's

That would be a very nice addition to this game tbh. I don't play pvp currently because mass scale zergs have never interested me. They make me feel insignificant and useless. I remember longtime ago in WOW battlegrounds (to name the most classic example of all) holding and defending for instance an Arathi basin outpost with 2-3 man against typically 2-3 incoming players trying to capture it was one of the most pleasant pvp experiences in my life, I guess simply because I felt my character could make a difference. Playing proper and smart felt really rewarding and there your typical full front attack zerg wouldn't involve more than 10 people and it was still possible to survive or react by going for another one of their outposts.

Yes, people wouldn't play in cyrodiil if there was another choice. Like that you are forced to play in lag... or not at all, but they don't care I think.

People wouldn't need these if the game actually worked as designed. Cyrodil would be this massive onslaught of battles. As it is, Cyrodil DOES NOT WORK AS INTENDED. SO I SEE NO REASON TO FORCE PEOPLE TO PLAY IN SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T WORK AS ADVERTISED....

By creating smaller battle grounds as instanced versions of Cyrodil just like IC wouldn't be a problem at all. They could tie it in to objectives that were based on scouting or small raiding parties. They would have a max of maybe 3 groups per faction that could break out into these. For these to work and not ADD more lag, they would need to be handled on different servers than existing Cyrodil.

This would help reduce some of the population in the heavy campaigns and would give people truly small scale battles as you couldn't be overrun by a group larger than 10.

I too want to PvP but dislike everything about Cyrodil so I don't at the moment. Battlegrounds/arenas would definitely give me the small scale PvP that I crave.

Even most PvPers don't want this. I would never have realized this until seeing it repeatedly in polls here on the forums.

So you think they screwed up pvp so far but if they just made battlegrounds this time they will get it right?

I would just like dueling to come in Dark Brotherhood. If that happens I would be ok with waiting till next year for arenas/battlegrounds as long as they are well made.

No, and I never implied so. It goes without reason that if the pvp ruleset is not balanced for Cyrodill, that same ruleset will not work in battlegrounds

Right so you see what you are asking for here right? Basically en entire rewrite of the entire pvp section of the game. Plus development of an entirely new area. I dont see that happening.
