Quick idea to make Blood Altar useful

Before someone Posts the
"OP Argonian + blood Altar" Video (6% healings Is great i know!): No! Let me introduce some nice ideas First!

Let vampires Receive Various Buffs when using Blood Altar!

Thats right, Here some Ideas:


While in BA's Radius:
- Negative Effects like extra Fire Dmg or Fighters Guild extra Dmg are nullified (includes undead exclusive cc's)
- Stam/Magicka reg are Doubled
- Health Regen Penalty Is negated and instead trippled as Long As in BA radius
- Ult Cost Is reduced by 10%
- A stage 4 Vampire has all benefits but only Stage 1 downsides
- Enemies close to friendly BA cannot use slotted FG Abilities

When activating(synergy) of BA:
- Negative Effects like extra Fire Dmg or fighters guild Dmg are nullified (includes undead exclusive cc's) for 20 seconds
- Stam/Magicka reg buffs are Doubled for 10 seconds
- Health Regen Penalty Is negated for 20 seconds and trippled instead for 12 seconds
- Ult Cost Is reduced by 10% / gain 20 ult (cooldown of 20sec)
- A stage 4 Vampire has all benefits but only Stage 1 downsides for 20 seconds
- Everyone from Enemy Factions Having FG Abilities on their Bars in a 20m Radius (around the Person who synergized) cannot activate them for 8 seconds
- Improvements to Drain for X seconds
(Double range / Damage / more Ult / more healing, etc)
- Improvement to Mist Form for X seconds
(Slow effect, Dmg, magicka regen activated?)
- Changes to Batswarm, depending on Max Stat (Stam higher than magicka = Changes into physical Damage | Magicka higher than Stam = Changes into Elemental Damage based on Element of Staff)

Now These were just some ideas, Mostly from a PvP Perspective.
Of Course one Morph could be aimed at Vampires(above suggestions) and the other one at WW, like offering a devour synergy, increasing WW duration, a Speed buff for Short Time, etc.

Tell me what you think, new suggestions are appreciated aswell!

    Clearly you did not anticipate 6 blood alters stacked at a keep's opening with an army of invincible, prox detted, bat swarming vamps.

    That is way too OP, op.

    Well its just a summary of ideas, the idea was not to have ALL those Effects active at once :smiley:
    Even 1 (ANY of them ) Would Make blood Altar more useful than it Is in its current State.

    Shouldn't it be a Vampire Skill then? Most guild skills are there to help us normal people kill abominations like werewolves and vampires :3

    Only the Fighters' Guild skills do that. The Fighters' Guild are the only undead hunters. The rest are just general support/combat skills. In fact the Undaunted actually use some skills more or less related to necromancy that would be worse than a vampire, like Necrotic Orb and Bone Shield.

    Still...more vampire skills would be nice, since almost everything in that skill line is useless :P

    Well, thats true for the Fighters Guild, But not the Mages Guild/Undaunted.
    The Undaunted Abilities are aimed at Support and synergizing, so everyone Should have Access.
    If Blood Altar was on the Vamp Ability Tree, you'd always have to be 2+ vamps to be able to synergize.
    Imagine in PvP, you help as a healer, while your Alliance Is Sieging, and you just Drop the Altar from time to Time. Vamps/WW's will move there to get Buffs with synergies/using its radius(whatever the buff Max be) and Move on

    Edit:
    skills would be nice, since almost everything in that skill line is useless :P

    I completely agree, But making the existing ones actually WORK and be useful Is a Great Start, too :astonished:

    Blood Altar is an Undaunted skill. If they improve it, it should be in some way that makes it useful for Undaunted content like dungeons or trials. If they want to make Vampire skill changes, make it in the Vampire skill line. PvP skill changes? Make it in the Alliance War skill lines. The game already has enough gear/skills that seem to be haphazardly and randomly thrown together with no rhyme or reason. And an Undaunted skill redesigned for vampires in PvP is more of that kind of silliness.
