Guild Stores: Motifs need filters

It needs done, if anyone at Zos plays this game, youll see in the guild stores when you search for motifs that you get pages upon pages upon pages of mix-matched motif pages. We need an option to filter this out because its ridiculous to search for one missing part of the motif anymore.

Agreed, I was thinking the same thing while looking for some pages yesterday.

1. Search from motif number X to Y (where you can enter a value on X and Y).
If you want to search Xivkyn for example you just enter [ 17 ].
If you want to search in all the DLC motifs (glass to outlaw) you enter [ 16 ] and [ 24 ].

2. Select the right chapter in a drop-down window (chest, head, legs, swords, bows etc).

Finally someone said it. Stores are full of mercenary crap. Trying to find dwemer is hard work.

If your on PC use the Addon AwesomeGuildStore. It lets you filter things down a lot more and by name. For all the new pages, I filter by Motif, Then the Motif name Outlaw, Trininmac etc and then can also filter to unknown pages. Then it only shows you those you haven't learned. It works great.

Also, if you have the CraftStore addon, it lets you assign your "main crafter" and your "main provisioner" and it will highlight motifs/recipes those characters don't know.

Agreed. Despite addons, they need better search options in Guild Stores built into the actual game.

I was on TS with friend when he downloaded it and hearing him go around the stores and figuring out the filters, was like Christmas in July for a 5-year old.

Why that is not the default interface of the guild stores is beyond me.

Most of the guild store add-ones change the UI so that it looks too busy, crowded. But yeah, it's a lot of trouble to find the style and chapter that you're looking for in a guild store because there aren't filters for them.

I was lucky enough to come across that when it first came out so I've never had a need for any other. One of the best Addons available IMO.

Perhaps the real issue is that there are pages instead of books.

Just pointing out the actual issue....not saying searches can't be improved by heck....the pages when you highlight them, are wrong most of the time anyways. It says not learned but it's learned or vice versa.

Just remove it all and go forward with logic. (If you can't do it right, ZOS, don't do it at all)

An in game filter would be great for lots of different things - not sure how many more add-ons I can run. LOL. But I might check it out anyway.

You're absolutely correct, all pages do is create a grind and an abundance of belt pages. A book would have much more value to it.

On PC, AwesomeGuildStore has a "known" and "unknown" for motifs, recipes and traits etc, even "crafted" or "looted" filters, where applicable. IMHO it is truly awesome.

I just wonder why those mods that are chosen by community as best of the best are not integrated yet in the game. I'm sure their creators would be proud and everyone else satisfied.

I needed xivkyn legs to complete all xivkyn.

Finally got around to buying it yesterday.

Took me so long. Search motifs, filter for epic. Every store had millions of mercenary for like 200 gold.

I'll be glad when they reduce the drop rate. Currently I have 4 toons I do pledges with and they all know the whole thing...

Along with millions of mercenary motifs should drop same millions of crafting style materials. It takes forever to find a laurel in decent price in guild stores. Buying merc motifs without marketted mats is a waste of gold.
