I don't think ESO should become a solo game because without the multiplayer aspects, it would really be the shortest and unsatisfactory solo TES title. I love ESO for what it is. I love working my way through it all slowly and by the time I'm wrapping on one piece of content, a new DLC drops.
I've heard on here that the projected life span of ESO is ten years. Ten. That's 40 quarterly expansions. This thing is still in its infancy and it's just going to keep growing.
