Hotfix 3/15 – DX11 Error Messaging (PC/Mac NA & EU) [COMPLETE]
This morning, we applied a hotfix to the PC/Mac North American and European megaservers to improve messaging for systems that are not DirectX 11 compatible. With today’s hotfix, when you load up ESO on a system that is not DirectX 11 compatible you will now get a pop-up message instead of simply crashing when pressing “Play.” The pop-up error says the following:
Your DirectX version is unsupported. Get Help.

The hotfix will prompt a small file download of 140MB.

Well it should have been in the patch to start with, not sure how it didn't cross their minds.. Well it's better they know why it's crashing then wasting their time downloading the whole game again or trying a bunch of other silly suggestions the trolls helpful people feed them.2
