A Nightblade's Execute

Why is it that a Nightblade's execute is only effective when their enemy's Health is at 25% while the Templars and 2H Stam users can utilize their executes when their enemy's Health is at 50%...

Doesn't it make sense that the ASSASSIN class should have the better or similar executing capabilities than a class that has nothing to do with assassinating and 2H weapon users? Seriously, what sense does that make? Even if you don't play Nightblade, you can see this makes no sense.

Either raise the NB's execute to be effective at 50% or lower all executes to 25% because people are taking advantage of their executes kicking in a 50% enemy health. There is NO reason Nightblades don't have that same capability. No reason.

It would be a fun idea if a nightblades execute turned you invisible once you killed your target.

I would much rather killers blade do somthing else then heal. Why would an assassin heal after he kills someone.

I think it has to do with how powerful they are. at 50% radiant oppression still doesn't hit hard enough to be worth using same for 2h it only starts to really deal damage at the 30% mark. is it odd that they did that? yes it is I can agree there. But they still aren't worth using( unless in a zerg) before about 30% hp

That has to deal with how people are abusing weapon damage % modifiers.

Im not 100% sure how they are calculated but i dont think they are working off your base damage. Rally buffs the already increased flawless db damage. Then relentless focus also increases the buffed rally damage. Instead of just your base damage each time.

Correct me if im wrong.

Templars may have all that but they still are wet noodles

as a main Templar I know I have built dps before I went healer and they do about the same dps wise haha build now just had more sustain vs dps and it isn't very noticible

Lmao you're qqing just like everybody screaming about Nerfing NBs.fighting a Templar easy break line of sight see how they can hit any of their channels when they don't have a Los. they also have a gap closer that doesn't work half the time and the other half bugs out the ability bar.

Perhaps, Stamina Nightblades. I've never been "hit hard" by a Magicka Nightblade unless they used Proxy Det (which every Mag user is able to obtain).

The point is that nightblades are still overpowered and don't need a buff to their execute. Almost every templar skill is bugged/broken and Radiant Oppression is the only thing going for the class right now as a DPS. You are also more than welcome to slot a 2H like every other stam dps class and get access to executioner that way.

Why do some people always want to make everything equal? Just because they start recieving bonus damage at different points doesn't mean one is stronger than the other. I like the fact, that you have different execute skills for different classes.
Also keep in mind that those executes scale differently. Radiant Opression might start getting more damage below 50%, but unlike impale you don't get the maximum damage at 25%. So if Impale would scale like radiant opression, I assume my nb dps would be lower than it is atm.

You already have so many buff abilities and heals for days. Now you want our CC? Seems like most Templars only have an issue with their DPS (except RD). Hey, while you're at it, how about you ask for Sorc shields.

As others have said, Jesus Beam and 2h execute are only an "execute" skill below 25% health, just like the nightblades. If you are PvP oriented and are having issues with others skills, just use a teleport strike or morphs to get behind them. Most skills are LoS and one quick skill cancels their attack. And your skill got a major buff so it is practically spammable. Try fighting a NB spamming teleport strike over and over, it is super annoying.

It's rare to see nightblades using their own execute anyways. You see it some from magblades as it's ranged.

Most stamblades just use executioner from 2h.

Lol i think you need to lay off the skooma. As a magic NB. You can have heals for days better CC mobility and can put out dps. I think you crying about Magplar comes down to 2 things L2P and need a skill and gear check.

Actually the explosion doesnt procc until 19%, and its more then often delayed sometimes so much that the victim manages to heal above 19% so the execute explotion never happens:D:D
Thea reason its called mages fury, is cause you get furious from how often it fails.

Stamina NB here. Execute with 2H does increasing damage the lower the health, starting at 50%. So when you hit someone with it at 50% health the damage isn't much different than at 51%.

I've found that overall, using SA until they are 25% then using Killer's Blade will do about the same dps as Executioner from 50%-0%

Killer's Blade hits harder than Executioner until the enemy is down to about 5% or less.

Mageblades are more support than damage dealers. They provide team buffs, healing and stuns, with massive burst damage. Even so, as a Mageblade you get massive bonuses to stealth damage and a ranged execute. The limitations balance out the advantages you have.

As a Stamblade, a melee one at that, I run the risk of dying because I don't use Cloak but I have access to the most powerful AoE (besides Detonation) in the game, stuns, insane critical chance and damage that I don't need the stealth bonuses.

Really cause my Stamina Templar runs a DPS build with One Hand and Shield and Twohanded just like my Nightblade. Running Jabs, Invasion, Sun Shield, Honor The Dead and Vigor. Dizzyng Swing, Crit Rush, Shuffle, Light Weight Beast Trap and Rally. I seem to kill with no problems at all maybe you should change up your build.

This is a clone of my Nightblade but Herotic Slash for Jabs, Dark Cloak for Sun Shield, Defensive Stance for Honor The Dead. It's all about the build you have to play to your strength.
