I already miss King Richard's and Lefty's streams. I was a big fan of Lefty's Weekly top 5 PvP moments. But I don't hold it against them for moving on to games that actually listen to their community instead of just pretending to listen, and doing the exact opposite of what the community wants. Games that fix bugs within the same week instead of three months or even two years (as is the case with toppling charge which is STILL bugged).

I am glad that Fengrush is still around because he speaks plainly and bluntly about the issues that we have been dealing with since launch. I don't always agree with his ideas on balance but I support the general sentiments.

Most dormant feelings I have were addressed in the video and at least for today it killed my want to play the game. Couldn't get into it I was so sad about how the game is really headed in a downward casual direction

Honestly he only mentioned Stam once and that wasn't even the point of his video it was the way they released the patch with bugs and how little it had compared to what it was supposed to have

Their going to lock this thread because of this video am sure of it .A lot of what he said is the truth and ZOS really need to listen and fix this crap.This video should be watched by everyone PVPErs PVEr and casual a like.ZOS really don't care and it sucks because I truly love this game I love playing it but ZOS just makes me not want to play and log on.Its ashamed how the treat this game and should be ashamed of themselves.

I can honestly say I feel the same way as he does. I love this game, ive put it in most of my freetime on my character since launch. It looked so much more promising at the start but just took a plunge after 1.6. They really don't care, how long have some of these issues existed? How many times I have we heared 'its being looked into'? How much of the forum is ignored?

Ive really been trying to stay positive and be understanding, but this video is a good slap to reality.

i REALLY agree with they need to introduce more small balance patches and features more often. this pages of changes every huge update is really jarring and hard to adjust to, just picks up Cyrodill, shakes it around a bunch, then throws it back down to see what it looks like.

He is not leaving. This is not a quit thread, but a thread critical of the game's direction. If you really care to continue the discussion, you will talk about the points Fengrush made in the video instead of letting thread devolve into a discussion about the thread.

When ZOS didn't update the trials, and forced everyone to V16 after telling everyone vet levels were going away, it really hurt the game.

I can definitely see why Stam build players are raging. Vicious death is extremely powerful(probably the single most powerful thing in the game by a large margin It renders every other set/playstyle obsolete.) As much as I dislike buffing stam builds in any way(admitted personal bias), if they are going to add sets this powerful to the game, it probably would have been a good idea to add a vicious death like set for them or make it universal like the Alchemist/Molag Kena.

Id have to disagree with his opinion on the old trials. Yes they are stale and i can't bring myself to do them anymore but, getting a weekly high score grants a chance for the new pve gear. So there is still incentive to do them at least once per week.

I do agree they need to listen to him, and others like him. If they can't handle swearing and negativity then they do need to get someone that does handle it because they do need to get on a mature level. I like eso I like what they have done most of it but he said is correct.
Basically, they are like overprotective hens they don't like anything negative said that would hurt there money gain. But they do need to understand its costing them more money by driving players off. If they were to listen to the people like him. People would come back to the game and they would make more money.

People are disgusted, and they should be if they are pushing out content that hurts them. I don't care much about pvp but they should have basically changed both magicka and stamina at the same time, not just one then do the other two months later.

They should have waited to make it Direct 11 only and also warned people about the coming changes much sooner and should have posted it in general. I am happy with thieves guild I like the content, but they need to appeal to the community, and really fix stuff before they put it life. Make sure it works, maybe clean up the content they make so it is not as buggy.
Yeah I know they got a lot on there plate, but they do need to understand what people like fengrush is saying and also get more people to work for them, they should not have wasted the million bucks it would be nice to have. But it should have been put onto people working for them and more people in general.

I am happy they are making this new content and I am sure they are over stressed about it and working long hours to make it but they need to do more. They can't do that by laying off people or people quitting.
They do need to overhaul the patching system, they do need to look at it and see if they can make it better.
The patching system takes too long, and I am not blaming the provider because stuff can download faster on other mmos then it does with eso.
The way the game is patching is causing the bugs because so many are patching, maybe taking the game down while on patch day, people will complain but it would help them out by reducing the amount of bugs being putinto the server.

Basically most companies don't like negative feedback because of the fact they think they lose money because of it and this is not true, if they listened to smart guys like Fengrush the game would be much better and they would not have as much negative feedback.

Well the folks at zenimax can either prove @FENGRUSH right or they can prove him wrong. The ball is in their court.It is sad that players of Fengrush's caliber are logging on less hours.This game is just past the two year mark and I would of never expected this level of stagnation from a company as big as zenimax. Even ancient AOC gets bigger updates and that company is on the verge of bankruptcy.

We are customers without a say. Well to a point, this dlc has used up almost all of the crowns I had from the old plus days. And I will not invest anymore money in this game. Only the free time I have will be spent.

For those of you that don't want to watch the whole thing, there is a really important part at 17minutes 17 seconds.

I find it so important that the community understands the nature of ZOS's closed door meetings with select portions of the game community that I have taken the time to transcribe it here.

They did this whole guild meeting. You guys know they did guild meetings with the community? Let me tell you how a guild meeting goes with the community ok because I've been there: They get the trade guilds together...the pve guilds, they get together too. We made a guild group to get together. The PvP guilds, they wouldn't talk to us alone, we had to engage the trade guilds to actually get Zenimax's attention - to get them together to talk with us and we did that. They put together the meeting. Zenimax comes in, they say "Listen, give us your questions and we will answer what we want. And if we don't like your questions, or you get out of line, we're gonna ban you from the teamspeak" If they didn't like what you had to say, they would just tune you out. It's such a one-sided way to communicate.

I have no idea why they trade guilds have so much sway with ZOS. I have read threads posted on these forums by trade guild members bragging about how much sway they have and even admitting to selling gold. If you don't believe me, pm me for the link. They barely play the game, just manipulate the economy like this was EVE online.

There appears to be no equal representation with ZOS. PvE'ers, RP'ers, and trade guild but PvP guilds are second class citizens in guild meetings.

If you play straight from beta you gonna get bored at some point.
There is no reason to blame the dev's for your boredom, i'm sorry when someone leave but try to found an excuse at all costs is pathetic the game is slowly become a good game, too slowly sometimes, and i hope that at some point when a lot more things will be in game, well' have all the community back playing.

I think they go by statics, like every other business they need to get money from this.
Pvers are most likly to buy new content, rpers are most likely to buy the cosmetics, and thus they will try and appeal to those two the most also trade guilds have a great sway on the ingame economy it allows them to balance it out in a direction they want to appeal to. They want to keep the game alive, and get the most money at the same time which is a mistake they need to focus on making the game better and appealing to at least everyone thats how they make the most money.

They want people to sub or buy the game, and pvers/rpers are basically whats generating the money for them. Pvpers basically mostly pvp and basically don't spend as much pveing so basically to have an appeal to them is harder. So far what they do for the pvp community can hurt the pve community badly, so yeah they need to make it where it would not harm either one.

If they added pure pvp arenas and then pve arenas like oblvions this would give them money so long as they come up with a way to make it balanced. They could make the arenas force players to wear a full set of body armor with no buffs or traits that act like oblvions arena armor, your unable to wear anything else during that fight this would help balance arenas, making them more like arena one on one fights because most relay in pve armors for builds, take that out and they have to do without it and basically make it more immersive pvp, and pve wise.

Also weakened abilties and nerfed weapons damage buff while fighting in the arenas with one on one would help as well. This would force players not to use op builds they have to fight fairly, Maybe no aoes, allowed either. Maybe only weapons abilities being allowed would basically help. Basically they would only allow magical abilties like mages guild, fighters guild abilties, weapons and armor abilties added by leveling armor, and thats it no class abilities what so ever. Plus an arena passive skill line. This I would like to see!

Experience and foresight tell me that Zenimax's problem is one concerning flow of money. They don't have the funds needed to build the game that the players are expecting. Most companies these days are fish on the beach gasping for air. Their minor systems have been canned and their major systems are in the process of being shutting down. Zenimax is no exception.

I know of some of the people that actually do the trade guilds meeting with zos thing... it's true they aren't elite players.. but they do ask their guilds for suggestions and questions and they are mostly 500 cap guilds. That's why they have input...

I'm not going to say who or even explain things... but I have personally explained to these officers issues (mostly exploits being used) and they took them to zos and ZOS fixed the problems.

I ain't going to say what I got fixed.. but it was 100% through an officer going to those meetings. A lot of those guilds are also cross faction and only have active players, they aren't a 500 player capped guild with a roster that's mostly inactive.

Truth be told these trade guild representatives have done far more to fix problems in pvp than Fengrush has... being he's actually part of the problem and all.

Can't blame him and I agree with him. Just looking at how long it takes them fix crashes that affect quite a lot of players shows a lot. It's been a week now and ZOS just doesn't care.

I wonder if ZoS does damage control or just going to lock this thread completely? I am one of those people who is like "I don't care its Elder Scrolls!" but it feels like this should atleast be discussed by ZoS. Alienating a part of the fan base is not cool.
