I think it is based on the material it is made out of, not which set.DRXHarbinger wrote: »I just want to know if crafted items become affected. Such as 9 trait items will they require a monstrously high level of CP to wear? My customers are generally low level cp guys who don't play enough to grind out research. It would make sense but it would suck at the same time.
It's probably too much to ask, but it would be awesome if some of the old dropped set gear scaled to your CP level with some sort of upgrade process. It would revitalize old set gear, add gear diversity, and you'd still have some sort of grind/gold sink to do the upgrades as you leveled.

This is a question that I hope gets answered in the coming weeks. What happens to the sets that were never scaled to v16?
IMO it would be great if all the sets are on equal footing and not gimped by the stats you can apply to them. There are some really cool sets that dont even make the conversation bc they were never scaled past v10. Options are good, and I think that is the appeal of ESO, so more of a good thing please.
I personally dont think that this would deter people from trying to acquire the new sets as long as the DB sets are worth being acquired.
