Out of the two DLC choices I am more excited for Dark Brotherhood. I love the Thieves Guild and it is a lot of fun but I can't wait to see what DB has to offer.

i like TG more.. but this dlc left so many to be desired.. there is absolutely no mentioned of Nocturnal and her nightingale (that i noticed)..... i guess there will be another dlc for the real TG.............

Essentially this.

For all intents and purposes, have already cleared all of the TG content I will be doing.
Do not run trials. No gear sets interest me to farm.

Basically my Thieves Guild DLC experience now comes down to re-doing the main quest on alts, or spamming dailies on my main.

It was the same storyline from Skyrim but without Nocturnal. Reruns can be disappointing.

Every time an NPC was wondering who the mysterious merchant was, I was yelling at the screen for them to stop being so dense.

Overall, the Dark Brotherhood has always been more popular than the Thieves Guild. The story lines have been better through the series. I can't remember any of the TG from the other games, but I can still hear Lucien Lachance going 'You sleep well for a murderer.' I am looking forward to the DLC because of dear old Lucien although he won't be born for another 800 years. I want to watch the DBH be formed and be a part of that history. Of course, we don't know what the DBH DLC story will be but, I can dream.

Plus the rebalance of Stam and the removal of vet ranks are sorely needed.

((Of course, as soon as I hit post, I remember the TG quest from Oblivion. The cowl and the Count.))

I remember thieves guild and dark brotherhood from each game I though thieves guild was a better storyline

I have yet to play a DB quest, in all my hours playing ES titles, not for avoiding them, just for never feeling i had a character fit. All my evil characters were far too self centered to tie themselves to an organisation just to kill people

When IC came out, we didnt even had time to forum.
When Orsinium came out, we was in love and the whole forum was covered with happy post, I have never seen anything like it.

Then this DLC comes out, and its just a bunch of achievements threw into an already made content, Tamriel.

So yeah I can completely understand this Brotherhood posts.

from what ive heard everyone loved the dlc its just buggy and a bit short

I dont think they existed

Well, Nocturnal exists. The Nightingales might not, yet. If they do, then they're still a secretive organization who won't necessarily pop up and introduce themselves to you because you're really good at picking people's pockets in Windhelm.

Interesting.
Morag Tong felt off to me, because Daggerfall had the Dark Brotherhood for players who killed a civilian or a number of guards (10-15?) but Morrowind turned them unjoinable.
