I received all my briarheart from chest's in Wrothgar. I found this little gem 2 month's ago. Make sure to have the increased chest drop in the cp tree while farming. It does not take that long, on the bright side you will end up with a bit of gold at the end. It's also great for Legerdemain experience.

I'm unsure the quality you get from daily's but i believe you get blue quality from chest's. It's not that big of deal in my opinion. You can always upgrade the Armour piece's to max quality.

I only wanted Briarheart specifically and i got all the piece's in 2 hour's or so.

Unfortunately, you can't get purple jewelry from the chests For armor, the quality doesn't matter since you can upgrade it, so you can get that from treasure chests, but for jewelry, in the end, you probably want to have the purple rings and necklaces you get from dailies or you will not have the best possible set bonus.

That's very true. To me, a blue to purple quality difference won't make or break my experience on my jewelry. OP did say he wanted to test the set. So it may be a good move to get the gear piece's to try it out before he break's a leg to try and farm daily's for the purple quality jewelry.

In the end, the set was very underwhelming for me. I tried this set for my nightblade and it does not proc when you want it to. It's however really good for Zerg Vs Zerg play and you can get a nice bit of healing with caltrop's. I think the set need's a health bonus on the return when you critical.

I also got my blue set of v16 robust jewlery pretty quickly with the chest farming method. However the blue quality is a big issue if you want to directly compare it to other sets like agility, endurance or the new PvP sets. In such a direct comparison it comes down to the tiniest numbers in a lot of cases and blue quality (where i really dont want to "waste" a kuta on) can just really change the dynamics of the build you want to run.

Im using it in PvP coupled with Hunding rage and Nights mother in a crit buid... its really nice.

Drop rates are bad for VR16 Purples. VR15 Blues are quite abundant. Also, it was while going from VR12 to VR16 on alts I was getting Purple Briar in VR12/14 all the time. Once VR15, they dried up. I can do a full set for 16 now, It took a lot of Dailies and the drop rate was higher in the early days of the DLC like it usually is. Then slowly they tighten the screws...

But it is really Hundings Rage other than the 5th Bonus. So I am running Hundings with the traits I want and Agility and on my Stamina NB. I forget which other two piece I have on him, it changes all the time.

@Ahzek Ah, OK. I'll keep going then!

It isn't that great by the way. The heals are minimal and isn't worth swapping something else like night mother and agility. Been there and tried to work with it and it doesn't work as you'd think. Plus for some reason it doesn't like dyes being used. They barely change and look odd.

FYI

I have picked up several pieces of Briarhart jewerly and armor in the Imperial City sewers and districts. There are lots of chests down there.

I also have picked up lots of Trinimac set stuff...

A: Absolutely awful, like the rest of the RNG in this game. I do not mind grinding and working for something, but the RNG in this game is beyond rediculous

I tried this combo on my stam sorc. I didn't like it while using 2h, just didn't seem to proc often enough and felt I was losing dmg overall. However, when primarily using DW in PvP and using steel tornado often enough, it seemed be proc'd much more often.

I am really wanting to try out 5piece kynes kiss with 5 piece briar heart but I need one more ring damnit.

has anyone any experience with this, am I wasting my time?
