thieves trove camping

I recently did Cadwells Gold and can confirm I found the troves all over the VR8-10zones, in caves, tents, camps etc.

Oh, and not a single one was camped

farm the heck out of them while you can! did some estimating and you can profit about 25k gold/hour just from the launderable items, not counting the gold you get and/or the gear/special items.

I got into a similar situation.

I was just questing in Hew's Bane and saw a thieves trove. I was thinking "oh, the first thieves trove I've seen in Hew's Bane since I came here, amazing".

Just as I came near it, a player ran by me and clicked the thieves trove first. I told that player that he was rude. The answer I received was that I was "beaten to it"...

After a few insults from each side, he threatened to report me for harassment.

I came across one, same person there all day, I think they were running a loot macro they never missed a beat when the chest spawned, shame the lengths some players will go to deny other players a chance to get one.

I've been finding theives troves all over the place, haven't really had an issue with players camping them. I did see one in Hew's Bane where a guy was standing there in front of it. I watched for a bit and he didn't do anything, so I figured he was AFK and picked it up.

I'm sure players are doing it, but there's lots out there so if you look around you are sure to find some. I've been picking them up while doing quests.

You can go to any zone and set up a circuit. And as you ride the circuit as the last one is collected the first in the circuit re-spawns. You can do this at the starter islands. then again in coldhabour then in each zone.Hew's bane is at capacity.

A good circuit can be found at betnikh. at grimm watch way shrine from the wayshrine go right next to the two wolves near the shanty.Then continue right and get the one on the stump next to the wolf and the axe and bowl. then go to the ruins located across the road and to your left. the first one is on the crafting table. the second one is located on the edge of the dias directly in front of the crafting table. Then the last one in the circuit is located on the mini pier behind the way shrine. Rinse and repeat.

they are literally everywhere, do not complain about the one guy sitting wasting his time, in one spot, they are everywhere not just hew bane...i know a spot where i can get 6 in a row unhindered.

Just so you know, the farming dude wasn't hurting you in any way. I would guess 90% of the troves aren't being farmed for sure. Why bothering one farmer when you can pick up 10 more troves nearby without any interruption? I can't understand that.

I actually don't care at all what people get up to, and I hope they in turn don't care about what I get up to
