Best Armor Set for Stamina Nightblade?

With the Thieves guild release, there is a new set called Bahraha's Curse. I was wondering if the set is better than Hunding's Rage/Nightmother's Gaze? Unfortunately opened my rewards early from Thieves guild quest, so my Bahraha's set is ranked vet 2

That set won't be better. It gives max magic which is useless and does magic damage which now scales with elemental expert and not thaum. There is a new 2 piece weapon damage set though and a Stam set with jewelry that might be better for boss fights than agility. Best in slot will still be night mothers hundings or tbs

Hunding's Rage and Night Mother's Gaze are very close. You don't have to go out of your way if you have one to craft the other. NMG has slightly higher results on a crit focused build, but keep in mind that NMG can only be worn be one party member since the effect doesn't stack. Twice Born Star is going to out perform both in trials with full raid support and in longer fights in general, but none of the 3 are going to be that much better than other the end.

-Cleaver Alch set is worth looking into. Its for burst/gank. 700 weapon damage is pretty crazy.

-eternal hunt also looks sort of cool but im not sure how effective it will be.

-tava's favor might be awesome as well. if you dodge enough, you could get ton's of ult.

overall im not sure what im going to do. stamina is turning into the gank class. i cannot heal and cloak anymore. if theirs lag i cant cloak without it breaking to single target abilitys

i feel forced to gank now since stam nb healing is *** without cloak. its time to revert the dodge roll change!

EDIT.

My final build with be cleaver alchemist with shield breaker. The burst to open up on people with cleaver alchemist is great. However if you cannot kill a magicka user and they pop a shield with 5% hp, shield breaker is a quick way to put them down.

I think ill try using spawn of mephala and see how it plays out. You could always use 1 piece kena and bloodspawn too.

Bahraha's Curse is pretty much just a tanking set. The tooltip damage on BC doesn't scale with max stats or WD/SD. CP will scale it, however.

I'd suggest one of the following options:
- 5 Hundings, 3 Agility, 2 Kena and vMA weapon(s)
- 5 Hundings, 3 Agility, 1 Kena and 2or3 NMG (depending on whether you're DW or 2h/bow)

My understanding is that the drawback to NMG is simply that only one person in group should be running it, assuming you're looking at this purely from a group perspective (such as trying to optimize or min/max your group's trial runs). If you and I are both dps, and both using NMG, we don't both reduce the target's armor, at least that's how I understand it. But if you're just looking at it as "would I personally be better off with Hunding's or NMG?" the answer is really that it depends. In some builds, NMG is optimal, and in some, Hundings is. In some cases it comes down to preference, but however you look at it, they are both very close contenders.

If I'm wrong about this, because I very well could be, please speak up. I don't want to spread something that isn't true, but from what I understand, this really is the only drawback.

Can't combine Clever Alchemist and Shield Breaker sadly...

I used to be under the assumption there was jewelry for a lot of the new set's that were crafted. I don't think you can get crafted set's in jewelry anymore.

I have refined my setup though currently. I'm running shield breaker and marksmen's crest. I will go back to agility once i get a hold of some more monster set's from the weekly vendor possibly.

In the mean time i've been attempting vMA. I'm currently saved on stage 5. The first 4 were not so bad after learning the mechanics. I've been doing about one stage a day as a learn. I really hope i get the maelstrom bow early. Once i get the weapons i probably wont go back. I don't really care to get Flawless, it's more about the weapons for me.
