It's the situations where a player is not attacking anyone, while being attacked by a group of people while they tree hump and spam shields and dodge roll around said tree. The situation where it is inevitable the player 8s going to die, but it is a matter of time. Ya I find it cheesy. I am not against it. Go for it. Do it. I do it. I just don't want to here you cry about it when you die because someone 8s being cheesy right back.

I'm not talking about zerging one guy. Also, 90% of the threads on the forum are not necessary. If you don't like 8t, don't click it.

The easiest way of getting around hate whispers is to actually set your profile to show you as offline, this way other players can not whisper you.

Although it is pretty childish when people complain in a whisper.

Ya, but then I can't get whispers from friends and guildies. I also don't like using ignore because there are people I have had salty conversations with that I became friends with. I don't like closing doors to meeting new people.

I've heard this phrase by a streamer with regards to certain types of nb and sorc players, "they play not to lose." Basically the type of player who sends you this tell is the one upset you put a stain on their K/D record. Just take satisfaction they are upset and move on.

Yes. As I stated in another comment, I have no problem with people doing these things. I do them. Just don't hate tell me about me spamming ambush, or wb, or any gap closer etc when you have been doing the same spamming nonsense. By all means do what it takes to survive. Just don't yell at me when you die.

Also, ever think that people are forced to do this to avoid said groups spamming skills like mad? If you were facing a zerg spamming ambush, wb, gap closers and what not would you think anything less than breaking los would be at all enjoyable? Your groups potential 'tactic' forces people to play like this regardless of how much they may enjoy it, so you spamming those skills just justifies them doing that even more.

I'm not talking about zeroing a guy down. I'm talking a group of 3 or 4 roughly. Whether that be pugs that have gravitated towards the same person or people actually grouped. Regardless, whether it is a small group or a zerg, this point does not matter.

You have missed my point. As I have stated a few times now, I don't care that a player does these things. I do them. Sometimes it's fun to troll a group for a min. Sometimes it doing it just long enough allows for reinforcements to show up and bail you out. Also, it never fun to just give up. Do everything you can to survive. No problem with that at all. Just don't appreciate people who use equally cheesy tactics that are used to bring them down and then Hage tell people for it. It can be annoying and is hypocritical.

My point is you are saying that trying to avoid these irritating skills is as cheesy as spamming these skills and I don't agree with it. If the game wasn't as rewarding for these spam skills then perhaps more people would do other things to both fight and fight back. As it is now you rarely see that as people get on one side or the other. In short, people using their brains to avoid damage in such a brain-dead meta of 'spam one skill to do well' should be rewarded more and is far less cheesy than spamming those skills.

Would you like some fries with your salt?

Y'now....salt is used to enhance flavor of food. Make things taste better. Salt, I believe was even once used as currency.

Maybe it's not a bad thing to be salty? I sure don't think so. Salty people effect change better than complacent, meek ones.

    Just sayin'.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

This is ESO, i've run out of hope that the meta will ever shift in a direction that won't reward a small pool of skills being spammed to be successful. A little while ago I was on my pvp tank and got a rage tell calling me a perma blocker, guessing I made the guy miss his daily quota of zerging people down by not keeling over instantly. I doubt that any change will get in that allows people to build for that kind of survivability with all the rage it would cause, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Thing is either players are just sad that their rageing about tanks in PvP cause they can't kill them or just idiots cause hey tanks are spec to TAKE THE DAMAGE BUT NOT DEAL IT. Like really all you DPS cry babies jsut cause you can;t kill some one doesn't mean scream and cry nerf till your red in the face it just mean move on to the next target cause while your wasting resources and time away on the tank their allies are sneaking up behind you to kill you.

Like I know it's been said alot but are zergs, gankers, and DPS players ingeneral really this sad that they have to kill everything in sight and if they don't it's OP and needs nerf,
