Other; Don't Care
Pick locked containers just for the sake of picking them.

I like the new loot tables for cyrodiil. Love that the new alliance motifs drop.
But because of that the only treasure maps I keep are for cyro.
as far as lockboxes go, the gold and justice loot combo just doesnt do it for me anymore. I'd love some low droprate "chase drops" like costumes or outlaw motifs in strongboxes.
Scaling them to the player rather than the zone would be a good start. Most of the lower ones (since you get maps from the troves now) I just do for the Malachite.

Once I had 0 gold left on my character because my funds were all banked. I needed to create inventory space by sending some gear to my friend via mail which required a small fee.
Disheartened, I walked around a bit in the IC Sewers. Killed some Daedra and then a chest literally spawned RIGHT IN FRONT of me and I found 131 gold in it! I used it to pay the message fee and send stuff to my friend.
Almost said I was satisfied with chest loot from this experience. Realistically there needs to be higher set item drop rates based on difficulty, with 100% at Master.
Scaled loot as others have said would be a nice way to get people stopping an considering them, however this might also push people into older zones stealing from newer players to farm.
I think the treasure maps should definitely give scaled loot regardless, this would help give a reason to buy/sell/use these again.

It's relatively dull, even for Master chests (as are treasure map troves); I was more disappointed though not to get an Achievement for picking a Master Lock.

Out ofall I had picked the most I got was a malachite shard...which I can't use! Mostly pointless loot.

The chests usually have nothing really valuable to me but I open them anyway. The achievement and now the Cyrodil motif is really the only reason to bother with chests.
The best thing about chests and picking them is legerdemain advancement.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too.Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.
Even master locked chests in Wrothgar usually contain V15 blue vendor trash.
At the very least, chests in a scaled zone ought to contain items at our level.
It is interesting thing, I do not like the loot. But If I see a chest always open it )
- Force lock, don't give us Exp, CP, legerdemain points.
- I would like see here a little bit more rewards. For example small/medium/large skill exp scrolls. This scrolls level up a skill, or a skill tree, or all skills in your bar.
