My first clear took me nine hours to achieve, in the time before that and after that I've died well over two hundred times in all. After a while though you just learn the npc placement and mechanics and your deaths slowly drop per clear until they hit 0. All I can tell you is play it safe; shields at 30% recast, boss almost dead take one last look around before burning, find yourself clutch attempting to kill an add back off and check the arena.
It can be beaten, as you're a sorc look at YoloWizard while he gets his no death run (so he plays it nice and safe). his playlists includes all rounds.
Wait.. 2 torugs 2 kena and 5 julianos?
Are you using dualwield?
Welcome to vMA.... Nothing else in the game will prepare for the volume of snares and stuns that will be cast upon you, it's simply a case of memorizing 10x bosses worth of disgusting mechanics (2 are just easy and the others are truly unforgiving)... The trend in the area is: Round# Stage1-4 will be easy to complete but at Round# Stage 5 the boss will arrive to stun you and if you don't avoid in time damage will be stacked onto you from the environment and other NPCs resulting in instadeath, that's literally every boss in the arena other than the first two easy bosses. Then when you do make it through there's a good chance you will get nothing but a set piece you can drop in Orsinium.. "Challenging Content" at its finest.
I've completed vMA three times now and spent a stupid amount of hours in there.

I mean, I can get a girl's number easier than I can beat VMA.

I disagree to an extent, round 5 is probably one of the easiest boss fights in the arena, you just have to change from pushing dps to slow and management. Adds spawn at specific health points on round 5 and they don't spawn otherwise, the boss destroy's platforms at specific health points as well.
To the OP I can say confidently that given time and effort towards the content you will find you die much less often. I have not completed it, got frustrated after DC'ing around round 7 repeatedly and being reset, however I have gotten to the point where I never die in rounds 1-3 and they are a cake walk. Round 4 boss is where I first start to struggle, followed by the add waves previous to the boss on round 5, round 6 is an all around struggle for me and its intense but I have downed it 4 times now, but round 7 is the farthest I've gotten.
For round 6 you really can't afford to miss a hoarver or the spiders that wrap pillars. Quickly killing adds is key to surviving, you need to have a good idea of where and what is spawning each time and already be prepping buffs or aoe's for burn. You need to have a good idea of what Ult's you are going to use and where you plan on using them. I have only downed that stage 4 times but it got easier each time as I was able to predict and plan for each wave. Staying mobile and not stationary is key to avoiding excess lightning damage, killing hoarvers on adds as well as pillars will save you time dpsing as well as clear the pillars.

I could use some help also... i've done it enough now that i can easily stomp my way to the final boss..
I still haven't beaten the final boss though, crematorial guards destroy my face...
tips wanted.
PS: Crematorial guards need a nerf..

Screw you too Seht. I got better in Frozen Blood after focusing on Adds instead of boss. Those archers are killer. But now i die by the lighting attacks from the sky in Stage 6 spiral shadows. those bosses cheat.

gamerguy757 wrote: »@DRXHarbinger On stage six though it requires you to park up. You have to park up near a lit up obelisk to keep the spiders away right? Or am i not understanding the mechanic fully?
And I will admit, it is kind of fun. I'll run it more once i have a few more VR1s prepared for the VR Removal. I use Maelstrom to get CP. You get the unusually quick in there.
gamerguy757 wrote: »Oh and on the spinning blades? I do kite from outer to middle, but its weird...is there two blades on each section? Because it seems as one passes, i go into the section to avoid the outer blade, and get slammed by a blade in the same section. Am I missing something?
