    Azura star pc eu = no lagg ping 120-150

    trueflame pc eu = laggy, ping 300-999+

    azura all faction 3 bar

    trueflame nearly all 3 faction pop lock

    That's strange Az used to be popped locked all the time what happened? It seems something has changed and no one wants to be there whatever could it be.

    Why would cp make an impact on lag? We had lag well before cp.

    Yea we did have lag before. But here's why we think it's cause of the CP system:

    - its been stated one major reason for heavy +999 lag was the way spells were sending player based information to the servers.
    - this information includes things like player low-heath checks, line of sight checks.
    - under CP, players heavily stack into dmg mitigation stars. The client/server has to include these calcs for EVERY ability used.
    - theory is without CP, the server only calcs simple mitigation requests.
    - 300 ping numbers due to players located at one location or a few abilities Wheeler is still working on.

    Players feel they are shafted due to no Champion points for Azura Star. Their feelings aren't misplaced either.

    122 latency on 2 factions max and 1 locked, agree.

    I didn't have too big fights yet.
    I thing the latency mostly is better because there are simply no zergballs yet.
    THe fights are really way smaller, pretty much like in the past.

    But i still have peaks and many moments where i just close the game because the latency sucks hard!

    It's not "zergs" as such. Azuras had 60+ AD rolling through the map last night in primetime. That didn't cause lag. What causes lag pretty clearly are blob groups crashing into each other spamming AoEs continually and not dying.

    That was what the siege and purge (etc) changes were supposed to help. But ZOS backing down on purging siege effects made all those changes basically meaningless.

    Yeah, the term gets used to refer to a lot of things.

    I just think we should be clear about what is actually causing the lag. It is a particular type of group/gameplay that has a disproportionate impact on server performance. Some of us pointed that out to ZOS and begged them to focus the siege (and other changes) on lessening the effectiveness (invulnerability) of those groups. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

    I'm just not sure what the point is. We already know it will lag, since it was bad before cp were introduced.

    remember the whole history of pvp
    its been better and really bad over time but consistently lag lag lag at pop lock faction stacking

    until they introduce mechanics that encourage more happening on the map then killing as many players as possible, people are going to end up in one spot> too many in one spot>lag

    Thieves Guild DLC turned Azura into a No CP Campaign. So all of the Red and Blue factions left. At least on PC-NA...

    We are starting to get more people into the campaign though and this last weekend was a lot of fun. We actually had a red group in there taking things back. There were some killer fights for sure!

    OK. i spent the whole day on Azuras and it is indeed better than Trueflame.
    The latency still sucks when too much is going on.

    I decided to slowly fade away from the game.
    They decided to make a HUGE map and the population is allready too low to fill certain spots and they allways clash together at one big chokepoint and it starts lagging.

    The design of Cyrodil is simply 1 big fail and instead of offering awesome lagfree sewers, they offer empty sewers because there is no interest in going there at all.

    There is nothing that spread anyone in Cyrodil and it allways lags when u go into the big battles they promised.

    This game has way too much money from me anyway.

    Azuras Star is 100% better than any cp campaign but again, the game is not balanced around no cp and it still lags (speaking of 700+ on no cp when big fights started).
    The issue of ESO is that one team worked against another. PvP had no priority even though it was the best thing about the game.

    bye bye, I do it as my Templarmate @Soris and keep watching the games progress but it will not see a single cent from me anymore. As a 100% pvper i would buy all the dlc just to see more of the game but i feel like the game doesnt deserve it.
