64bit FPS issue SOLVED!!! (NVIDIA Laptop)

The 64 bit client was not running NVIDIA graphics chip, instead using the built in Intel chip.

By right-clicking on eso64.exe and choosing from the context menu "Run With Graphics Processor --> High Performance NVIDIA Processor" I now get the same FPS in 64bit as in 32bit, same as before TG patch.

I have now used the NVIDIA control panel to specify that the NVIDIA processor should always be used when running eso64.exe

I hope this fix works for others as well.

EDIT: If you do not have that choice in the context menu, I have posted another solution in this thread:

Cheers!

I do not get this when right-clicking on eso64.exe. How did you add it to the context menu?

When i click on my eso64.exe it does not show this "Run With Graphics Processor --"

Only says run with administrator and a bunch of other stuff but but no where can I find "run with graphics processor"

I have windows 10 home version, I don't think it is giving me that option.

Found out, this only applies to laptops.

Note that this is ONLY for NVIDIA.

That explains so much. Have seen this suggested in two threads, but was never able to find the setting.

Thank you for the clarification. :)

Also important to note; if your motherboard has an on-board GPU, you can disable it in the BIOS setup, something I've done a long time ago.

And a lot of people don't get that option anyway, it depends on your setup, driver versions and motherboard

I have had my nvidia gpu set to default for a while :) still have issues with 64bit client. The audio issues are driving me crazy. But that's due to their coding, hope it gets fixed soon -_-

Some sounds have gotten messed up in patches before, usually they are fixed fairly quickly. Just this one seemed to grow and get worse on the 64 bit client. The first two days I had no audio issues. Then, two days ago they started showing up. And over time the frequency increased. Last night it was real bad and I am back on the 32 bit. Sounds good now.

Thanks for the tip man! idk why i didn't think of checking what graphics card my laptop was using, I haven't checked any serious combat yet, but I'm back to 60 fps just standing around compared to like 20 when I was still using integrated graphics.
