...That I really love Hew's Bane. :) The level design is really awesome, its much less "straight-forward" than in vanilla game. Remember that tricky skyshard in Bahrama's Curse? :) Or the walkways in Abah's Landing... The level of details makes the city look much more lively than Vulkhel Guard or Stormhold for example. And even though the dlc location is relatively small, its actually fun to explore. Questline is also good, its a matter of preference of course, but I like it more than Skyrim's TG questline. I do not deny buggyness and other issues... There's a lot of topics about that already. ;) But I really like the direction dlcs take - more immersive and well-designed than original game content. And adding a piece of challenging content and repeatable quests in every dlc is also a good decision.
So I thought this dlc deserves a positive feedback thread. :)

That skyshard was pretty tricky, after figuring out how to get up there I taunted players looking through the wall right at it, got whispers to tell them how to get up and I just sat there dancing.

I have to admit I am enjoying the DLC more and more. Using the LFG dungeon is a swift and fun for undaunted pledges and have to give props for the people behind it along with the content of the DLC.

I feel that if they added phases instances for the Thieves guild quests it would eliminate immersion breaking in it.

Haven't tried Cyrodiil for PvP, but heard there are bugs.

My main complaint would be the Combat team is rather slow and inept, quite frankly they should be made to include updates on a constant basis (weekly) rather then with each content DLC release. This would make it more smoother for adjustments.

Indeed, I loved the DLC. The region may be small, true, but its also nifty. And yes, I had a blast figuring out how to get to that skyshard in the tomb... really well done!

I also enjoyed how the "crime spree" and "idle hands" quests breathe some life into old regions again... and of course, I am loving Karis hit list and finding those thingies (still working on that one, some are harder to track down then others...)

All in all, well done stuff there! Makes me very eager to see the next one, and murder for fun and profit in the Dark Brotherhood! (even though my sneaky stabby character would be more of a sister...) ;)

I love everything about this zone, except the ending of the Thieves Guild quest. It was so cliché, boring, expected...

    They pretty much
copy/pasted the story from Skyrim and changed the names of the characters. Former leader of the guild rips off the guild, frames the guild, the guild falls into a slump, and you (the new recruit who doesn't know anything) somehow pulls the guild from the ashes and enacts revenge on the former leader.

EDIT: the soundtrack is hands down the best part of this DLC. Bravo on the incredible score.

+1 For the skyshard in Bahrama's Curse. Took me awhile to figure it out, good stuff :)

Just wanted to drop in and say that my friend and I are sincerely enjoying the DLC, despite some bugs, and overall we personally feel the team did a great job. More so than anything else, the art in every area has done nothing but impress me especially. The way Hew's Bane looks and feels is incredible, and the teams that put it together deserve a gold star.

    And dat' audio.

I really, really love the heists (and hate them. So. So much.) It's left me excited to see what the Dark Brotherhood brings. (Never have I wanted to stab a patrol in the back more.)

    Thanks guys.
