I really like the crashes, especially when you crash right at the end of a trial and don't get the reward, because you crashed @ 5% and they kill it before you get back in.

    Really enjoy that.

PvP aspect is the only thing keeping me here tbh. If for example they removed it - I would be gone in a heart beat.

Exploration is the most fun for me. Playing through the game with my boyfriend, doing all the quests and experiencing the beautiful environments :) We both recently purchased Orsinium so will be going through that next since we have finished the base game!

So far for me it is the detailed world, the whole Elder Scrolls theme. The stories. And the stories in between. Some of the Dungeons... Baharahs Gloom, kind of was awesome to explore. Also Razaks Wheel also Village of The Lost... are still fresh in mind.

Crafting of course... This game lives it... Although Jewelry crafting or some other way of updated crafting system would be nice. Not really urgent in my opinion. But something that we can build or accomplish that enriches the game world, or the gaming within.

Nice responses so far. I think it's great the game can support so many play styles.

Ganking. Ruining dueling for people. Anyone is fair game is IC right. Plus running dungeons for guildies because it's fun and social. Then there is hoarding tons of gold for no purpose whatsoever.

To have an MMO where I can actually play in 1st person and where I do not have to lock on to an enemy first is just awesome. Then the beautiful landscape, I always loved that in TES games, given that my first one was Morrowind and I did not play any of those before. I like the overall art style in TES games and ESO is providing a lot of detail for that it is an MMO. Then the races in Tamriel, I basically grew up with those and this is fantasy RPG to me, Elder Scrolls. I tried other fantasy worlds, but they are not that appealing to me like Elder Scrolls is. The lore especially when it comes to the lost civilizations of the Dwemer and the Ayleids. Since Morrowind and Oblivion I tried to find more evidence about their culture in TES games.

Quests are not that important to me, even I am doing some of them nevertheless - but more because I have to, not because I like to. It was and is somewhat disappointing to me, that it is not a real open world experience with these level-gated regions. But well, the DLCs will be of a different kind and so I am not too sad about this fact. I wish there would be no levels and ESO just be a skill-driven world, but well, TES games were always level-based, so be it, but it is not a good choice for an MMO, even it seems to be like that in many MMOs - I like the concept in EVE online, which is purely skill-driven and an open world.

Well, there are many reasons why I like TES games, which are not implemented in ESO - like actually be able to use furniture. Who the heck came to the idea that leaving this out would be a good idea?- It was not a good choice at all. And why don't we have camping gear or something which would make us feel more at home in the world - I cannot even rent a room in an inn. This is all role play stuff, which is missing and makes me feel alienated. I hope this will change with player housing.

Those videos I have seen about Cyrrodil are disappointing as well - where is the beauty of this province?- Due to pvp issues, it is basically stripped down to the bare landscape with not many details, not many plants, barren - that is not Cyrrodil to me. I rather fire up Oblivion and have a nice looking Cyrrodil which is fun to be in, than to go to Cyrrodil in ESO - I will, but I will most likely not like it and rather play Oblivion instead. There I could feel at home, I hope the gold coast will be better in ESO.

Look forward to the Dark Brotherhood DLC. We are getting the Gold Coast of Cyrodiil with Anvil and Kvatch and I think as its not going to be a PVP enabled zone, there'll be room for a lot more detail.

After two and a half men... I mean, characters, I'm so bored that sometimes, while hunting Cyrodiil's maps, I like to jump from the highest mountain in my path (to not walk around to much after rezing) just to see how bad that cliff should be nerfed.
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

Exploring, wandering the countryside enjoying the view

    Collecting skyshards

Sneaking around in higher level areas

Blasting enemies back with flame reach

    The whirlwind animation

    Finding treasure chests

Crafting a new set of gear and playing around with color schemes at the dye station

Playing with all the options in character creation

Some of the characters, dialogue, and quests are fun

    Riding senche mounts

Running around with my bosmer characters, they just look so bouncy and sprightly it makes me happy

Combat is fun when it’s just right, where it’s not merely one-shotting, but it’s also not a drawn out desperate struggle

When my friends are actually online at the same time and we can have fun chatting and running around together doing dungeons or world bosses - I enjoy being a healer in those cases

Being able to give people food or recipes or researchable items they need

Answering a call for help at a dolmen or something and actually getting there before it’s all over so I can actually be helpful

Stealth healing for someone from the sidelines where it’s not stressful for me and I can just watch them kick butt and see all the cool skill/magic effects while not distracted by the chaos of battle myself

As this is my first MMO, I've been learning a great deal as I go.

As for fun...well here's a few things off the top of my head.

Getting to know a great many of the "regulars" on these forums. As a going on 2 year "rookie" I've really enjoyed the friends I've made here...and the wisdom that many of you have shared. :)

Plotting my own course through my time in Tamriel. I tend to just do what seems fun at the time, and don't listen to the min/maxers too much. Might be why my favorite class is by far the Templar...even though most say it is the "worst". They might be bad (I know that I am as a player)...but since this is what I do for fun, well then this is the class I will play. In that respect I guess ZOS did OK withe their "Play as you want" theme :)

Alts! Gawd I do love my alts! I have 2 accounts full of characters that are unique in their own way. I still haven't completed all of the content on even my main character, but this also helps keep the game alive for me. There's always a "new" mountain to climb for each of my characters...and the journey is also unique for each of them.

What can I say, to me ESO is still just as fun now as it was when I logged in for the very first time. The only difference is that now I have a great group of new friends (both here and in game) to share the journey with.

    To me that's fun :)

The PvE side of the game was enjoyable until the constant chasing of PvP balance by the devs made it feel like I shouldn't even bother becoming attached to a character like in other TES games, since every few months they ruin it with major skill changes.

I would enjoy it more if they would simply separate PvE and PvP and leave the game killing nerfs for PvP only.
