I am betting the Morag Tong will have a large part to play in the next dlc, and thus I think we should have that option to pick sides. This would give Morrowind players something and players an alternative to dark brotherhood.PC NA

It would be nice to see a Skill line for the Morag Tong, maybe the Morag Tong would be a little bit more Biased and thus dark brotherhood would be the preferable choice but the option to join the Morag Tong should happen. I would like to see the angle of choice. But I would be fine with just dark brotherhood but I want the Morag Tong to be another choice we players could have!

Morag Tong has only appeared as Joinable in Morrowind, in Skyrim they did have it but basically they sent assassins after you with a writ of death for being dark brotherhood.
I do want to see the option for them to be join able in the dark brotherhood dlc but if we are lucky we could get them to add the option because I am betting, its only the dark brotherhood which is going to be joinable. Thing is we got two assassins guilds one a cult and one a business and a cult. I do think both sides should be explored or join able. I would love a third option where you could choose to be antagonistic towards the Dark Brotherhood, rather than joining them. But I understand that that would require a large scale effort for not much payoff and would not be upset if it never happened.
Basically though, if it is fun, repeatable and meaningful, all content is good content. I really wish they would include more sandbox elements into the DLCs and base game though.0 -

Cadwell's silver/gold quests are basically alternate realities, or at least that's what I gather from doing the story.
I'd have prefered it if they sent you as spy, but ZOS unfortunately hasn't gone that route due to the extra work required. Also, the silver//gold zones weren't originally planned. The original plan was to have Craglorn as VR 1-2, but people complained about not getting to see the other alliance quests without rolling an alt.
The situation with the DB and Morag Tong would be completely different.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Yes the ability to join either Dark Brotherhood or side with the Morag Tong.I was a happy member of the Morag Tong in Morrowind - an assassination was official business and you just had to show your order to a guard to be not considered a murderer any more. For it to be a viable option, the targets would have to be harder to kill though, Dark Brotherhood has to operate in the dark, Morag Tong could do the harder assassinations, because they do not have to fear the guards or the justice system for doing their job.Edited by Lysette on March 12, 2016 4:34PM0 -

I haven't played thieves guild yet (because my main isn't a thief) but I imagine having a character approach you in the beginning and asking you to be the Iron Wheel's "inside man" wouldn't have been too hard. Maybe they do that... but I am assume they don't.
I voted yes (knee jerk reaction) but think it would be better if the Morag Tong had their own DLC down the line.
The DB story could have the player, at the moment of assassination, choose to let the victim live with the ultimate overarching story leading to the same resolution.
It's not like we're asking for ZOS to do anything revolutionary in terms of narrative or story design.What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.

Yeah, I'd love to join the Morag Tong, if only because... dunmer. But I doubt that will be possible, because... it would make little sense for non dunmer characters? And/or non pact characters?
Whereas the brotherhood in the gold coast region would take in everyone without distinction.
Thus... better for an MMO, where you have to keep all open for every type of character.
Besides, they already will have finished most of that DLC by now, and would be working on the final touches in the next months before popping it to the PTS, so... kinda too late to make any large changes, no matter what we here might like. And considering how Orsinium and TG went... I am pretty sure it will not disappoint regardless!
