Remember how people bitched how hard it was to make VR16 gear?At first I was concerned (and vehemently opposed) about the Monster Helm Vendor. But ZOS decided to even things a bit by adding the weekly rotation to the vendor so that we still can't always get what we want but have an extra possibility of getting the items we want.
Now, TG can be used to make lots of $$ (30k per day with the right passives) and it's a lot easier to get v16 mats too now. That does worry me...

Now people are bitching that it's too easy.
Let it go. This world isn't fair. Just because you spent hours to farm something, doesn't mean others can't buy their way out.
It's only a game. Enjoy it, not worry about it.
I've never really focused on making gold, but after TG, i've done it pretty good compared to what i usually had. But still, i haven't really concentrated on that. I'm just wondering what it does in the long run, since we don't have any goldsink. This thought came to me on the first evening TG was released, and i noticed my earnings really went up. And don't get me wrong, i like the area, i like the dailies and the story. It's just that we really don't have anything to put the gold onto. It will add up.
Also checked the monster helm vendor and it's only 100k. In few weeks, we might have many players running around with 2p Kena, and with the ease of getting vr16 mats, many players will start having gold v16 gear. With the gold from TG missions/stealing with haggling skill maxed, resins will become easy to get.
After PvP starts populating with people who have pretty easy access to the best gear, what's left? We get more powerful sets than Kena for example damage wise to counter it?
It seems somehow wrong, that one (1) arcane willpower ring is 120k, and one of the best helmets in the game is 100k, presumed that they all cost the same as Ner did today, i hope not. And that one ring on itself, don't really give much anything. You have to enchant it to give spell damage, upping the price to about 130k.
Those helmets, should be at least 500k imo, but i guess people would start complaining. And ZoS has to think business-side, this isn't charity
This is my first MMO, so i may be wrong and not know how these things work in MMO-world, but this makes me worry at least.

I think we are experiencing a big catch up program of ZOS for the bulk of the players.
I guess many players NOT on this forum will be happy with it !
Everybody that spends on average only 1-2 hours per day playing can hook on to fairly competive sets and CP level for Endgame experience in this game.
It will also greatly help the devs to balance the game better in the coming months (up to year end I guess).
Both root balancing as class balancing.
I think that the economy will find a new healthy balance as well, whereby noted that many new sets are BoE.
So... I welcome it very much

This is my situation exactly. Except on an occasional Saturday binge, I get maybe 5 to 10 hours of play in a week so my time is limited to what I can do. Running dungeons, while fun, is basically what I've chosen not to do because of these time constraints. Meanwhile I now have all gold, VR16 gear, but have never had a legit chance to acquire a Molag Kena peice. Honestly when given the chance I might not even buy it, I like my 7 piece infused, but having the option is nice.
Also, regarding purchasing, a lot of people that buy things in games aren't lazy, but really don't have the time for the minutiae. 2 weeks ago I wanted a Vampire bite and none of my guildies were online. My choices were to buy it with crowns or try to go to the shrine and negotiate with a random for a bite. I took out my credit card because the $5 for the bite was less of a headache to me than the other scenario.

I will understand the outrage if some people who had to play a vet dungeon 60+ times to get a helm, when someone will soon be able to buy it and even possibly have never of run that particular vet dungeon.
It'll be interesting to see how console deals with it. I'm a dedicated Xbox player, but quite a few of my fellow Xbox players are... Loudly spoken..
