Not an exploit, not even an issue. Pop caps ensure that we're never going to run into the issue of "we all jump to the faction with highest population". People like switching it up, I don't really care, it can even be fun to see a familiar face on the other side of the blade.
It's definitely not an exploit, but population caps are not the answer. Balanced populations do no equal competitive balance. Just as EP had far more organized players this time last year, DC does now. It's bad for the game.
Many remaining PVP enthusiasts have well-developed characters on 2 or 3 factions and play whichever one gives them the easiest path to success. It's lame, but this game has absolutely no competitive balance mechanisms.
also to prove my point on why mass faction jumping is bad ep was winning bwb campaign as of recently (I even mentioned that earlier above) but the faction jumping dc emperor and other jumpers took the map and now dc is winning this campaign when they where in last place! that's how fast a handful of faction jumpers can turn the tides of battle

Not ZOS's fault, also probably not even accurate. Loads of people have been switching factions the last 2 years specifically to make some factions more competitive when they've historically underperformed. Just look at where DC is now compared to last year. Full 180. That didn't happen by magic, players made a concerted effort because they wanted more competitive fights. You'll see the same thing happen again, just give it a moment.
i see always the same faces , in duels at frontline the same faces in team orange the same faces former emperor always together even when in diff teams standing in a keep defending red and yellow next to eachother so yes they are boosting and yes thats exploiting and frankly i dislike such players because they r no teamplayers and will let you down when they see ther buddy buddy no no where are dueling not boosting *friends* and they cheated to become emporer
not all but most
I like when I see ppl from my faction on another faction and they use about the same name so you know who it is at least they don't hide that there jumping faction lol but seriously can dev jump in on this and give there opinion on faction jumping?
It's kinda hard to get an unbiased opinion on this subject. I know that if those who jumped factions advertised it they wouldn't get the same love and support from their faction and that's why most don't announce they jump factions
Ok...I have to disagree. I do a lot for my faction. My guild plays map, no AP farming happening when we have a raid.
I set up siege and newly FCs. That is something I don't really do when playing with another faction. I usually just want to have fun then.
And how you want to keep people from doing that? It is free choice. There are a lot other things that suck in my opinion but that is not the right thread for it.
you say you do a lot for your faction but does it matter what you do for them if your just going to jump to another faction and Kill them and take keeps from them? kinda defeats the purpose of "I do a lot for my faction" lol
what I think you meant to say is 'I do a lot for my faction if it benefits me'
Oh look, its the "Anti everything Rylana has done for 2 years" thread again
>_> wtb fourth merc faction already pl0x

I play all factions and have loyalty to none besides the people I play with.
