Should ZOS sell NEW emotes in the Crown Store ?

Yes but only if they create a /teabag. I'm tired of pressing that sneak button over and over again whenever I take another player's life from them.

Even as a fellow role-player, new emotes should just be included in the base game. I don't see why, if I'm already paying for a sub, I should be charged for emotes they're creating and implementing anyway.

Edit: Unless it was a sizable pack of them for a fair price. In that way, I could simply spend part of the monthly allowance of crowns on them.

I don't feel emotes should be put behind a pay wall. Of all things they could charge for, they just don't make sense to me. I've seen a couple special dance emotes you could buy on FFXIV, and I just don't see how anyone would want to spend money on them. Xp scrolls, pets, mounts, I can kind of see. Unless they create a whole RP package filled with new pets/costumes, as well as a few new emotes for the hardcore rp'ers, or anyone who just enjoys wearing costumes and whatnot, then maybe it could work. But selling individual emotes, or group of emotes, idk, I say just put em in the game and make em available for everyone.

I get it and I understand where you are coming from. I really do. Don't you see, though? If we continue down this path the MMO genre will continue to degrade and the micro-transactions will just get worse and worse. There are a lot of features in ESO that I want and are missing but I don't want to pay for them piecemeal. I would rather pay them a fair price for the game and expect a good game in return. Begging ZOS for game features à la carte is just a very bad precedent and we shouldn't encourage it in my opinion.
This a thousand times! This is exactly my problem with a lot of the crown store suggestions.

They could just use them as rewards too.

They wouldnt sell well enough to justify the time invested in making them.
P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

I voted "No" because "I couldn't care less" wasn't an option (and reflects my true opinion).

ZoS is running a business and I see no problem with them selling additional cosmetic items people may want. ZoS did a great job giving us quite a few for free in the game, they should be allowed to charge for more, especially based on consumer requests.

The only time I will care: charging for powerful weapons or spells players can't get in the game.

    No.

Should *emotes* be sold in the crown store? Absolutely not. Emotes are basic essentials in any MMO that add a bit of flavor. The only people to whom they would be worth much would be to the roleplaying community- and to ask them to pay for something like this? New animations that are created for NPCs regardless? Rubbish.

Yes, new emotes should be available in the Crown Store. But that should come along with other options to acquire new emotes ingame. It should not be exclusively in the store, like fulfilling storyline quests, heists, trials, "how to learn to show your emotions" lorebooks etc.

A Bards' College would also be an option for getting them ingame, sure. But I also wouldn't mind to have some emotions in the store.
