With exception of a few abilities that got 'fixed' later on, AoE caps were firmly in place two years ago. It's been almost two years when I started playing eso..
Thinking back, it was loads of fun!
Remember when...
1. DK's can face tank 24 people and do perma bats by flapping their wings?
2. We can fill up ults by healing springs
3. 6 against the world was viable?
4. There were more crashes in cyro than today
5. Your first time in cyro and you were in heavy armor and didn't know what to do?
6. There were no aoe caps
I started talking about it with friends I met in eso 2 years ago and looking back, there were a lot of ups and downs but I still think this is a GREAT game!

It never was - it just wasn't the right colour so at first people didn't realize that it was actually super rare and if they got one they sold it for the same prices as the other blue racial motifs were going for... The prices on them changed long before the motif was changed to be gold, because people started to figure out that they were actually pretty rare.MaddPowered wrote: »Or when the imperial motif was a common motif

How the game rolled out basicly pulled the plug for many of us... And i really believed this time that they weould get it right.
I remember open beta where no one had a clue and we were all lv 10 - 20, working out how siege weapons worked made you god, killing half a dozen other players as they looked around confused by what the red circle meant. No 1% and everyone was mostly equal and it came down to skill and having any idea what to do and I never thought anyone would be emporer because taking one keep was a challenge holding onto all 6 against both sides would be near impossible

Somehow the lagg seemed to let them cast it over and over, and the game would just completely ignore when you tried to use your abilities for 2 or 3+ minutes straight. No one would take damage and it was like time was frozen. Sometimes it would kill the whole PVP server, kick everyone out to char select, and then rollback to an earlier state.
