Undaunted Quests - joining a group half way through

Hey,

when I join a group which is doing the undaunted quest and already beat a few bosses, do the bosses count for me after finishing the dungeon too or not?
Or would I not finish the complete Quests and let´s say only get the bronce key?

The bosses already completed will NOT count towards your progress. You're going to have to find a group that's starting from the very beginning with you, or else you may be stuck with a bronze key, or depending on the checkpoints missed, you may have to go back to them anyway.

Okay, thought so. Understandable system but kinda silly.
The group tool often puts me in such groups and I feel bad for them that they are stuck, but it´s kinda "wasted" time then for me when I join....

Yeah man it sucks being in that situation on either side. I just leave immediately if I notice they've completed checkpoints that I still need, and wait some time before queuing again. Just to prevent being paired with them again.

Me and the two guys I group with are almost always willing to go back with whoever ends up joining part way through.

Our group consists of a tank, a healer, and a dd so we use the group finder to (hopefully) pick up a second dpser. We're low to mid level VRs and have only just started doing vet pledges (we usually trio the normal pledges), so we're still learning mechanics and what-not. Unfortunately, about half the time, the person that was added in the group finder gets frustrated and quits; so we re-queue.

As I said, we always (unless we're just plain out of time) offer to run through again with that person who was added part way through, but we haven't really figured out a way to reliably reform the group, especially if it was cross-faction. Is there, or will there be, a way to group with someone from another faction? We tried to disband the group and re-invite while still in the dungeon once, that didn't work out.
