It's been almost two years when I started playing eso..

Thinking back, it was loads of fun!
Remember when...
1. DK's can face tank 24 people and do perma bats by flapping their wings?
2. We can fill up ults by healing springs
3. 6 against the world was viable?
4. There were more crashes in cyro than today
5. Your first time in cyro and you were in heavy armor and didn't know what to do?
6. There were no aoe caps

I started talking about it with friends I met in eso 2 years ago and looking back, there were a lot of ups and downs but I still think this is a GREAT game!

Share your stories and fun times! There's too much whining in a week already. Stay positive!

I also remember the original Wabbajack campaign..... god I miss that beautiful son-of-a-Guar!

Fantastic people... no lag.... Still find it hard to believe that while the game as a whole is undoubtedly far better now, the PvP then was 100 times better than now.

When Nirncrux was only found in Upper Craglorn. I miss seeing people up there. I see the occasional stranger, but no where near the amount from before. =/

Also, I miss doing Trials.

Well back in Auriel's bow there wasn't a slide show pvp since everyone crashed already

tbh i missed so much of that time because of the "improved lightning" patch. i was just into pvp a lot and with this patch i suddently went into AA HRC and stuff. Should have never wasted my time there but the game was pretty much unplayable.

Once I got hooked, I only got back into PvP shortly before 1.5 (which was still a great time to play 6 against the world but in summary i really regret every time in put into non-gear-related pve (playing for pre-SO leaderboards, farming CP in CWC, wasting time to get flawless conquerer). I really hope I can avoid that mistake in TG and the future.

Yeah 1.5 was really great..i should've treasure the moments. But it's gone now and would never go back. I guess we should just adapt and treasure our time doing good pvp before they nerf it again

Although I doubt anyone can pvp now with this lag..

Or at launch when 24 player groups were wiped singlehandedly by the resource tower mages. xD

And you would get a Lagg spike every time someone joined or left a group increasing in severity depending on group size. xD
I remember one time when we hit 24 players and half the group was Lagged out to login screen xD.

It was glorious, albeit a bit frustrating at the time.

Gutstripper actually could strip your guts out.
Hidden Blade from Vet zone npcs for half your health (my sorc so hated those) lol
World Bosses and public dungeons that actually required a group.

Me too.I remember dreading Doshia each time I had to do that quest.I'd be ready to run around her killing off all those darn orbs.Now,I kill her before one orb spawns even.Breaks my heart really.

Tbh in azura last patch, I feel like we're against bot trains like the one from auriel's bow coz of the number of zerglings. There were like 60+ in one keep..

Maybe! I currently can't get in the game because I had to buy a whole new PC. Waiting to get that so I can get an appropriate card for it that won't break my bank. But Thornblade's going?

I hope Trueflame/Azura's stay. I don't mind if Azura's has the No-CP stuff. It'll feel different without it though.

I do have something I was here for, was patched out, and now I dearly miss! Stealth resurrections! That was my favorite thing to do in PvP. I'd wait around when I see the majority wipe, I'd hide inside the keep and just bring people back for round two. It was pretty tricky in Azura's because sometimes the ping alone was still so high that I had to plan ahead. But I made it work! Then when Orsinium (I think it was during that patch) it just poofed. Still miss it.

You know it's funny - my very first character fought Gutsripper less than a week after PC launch, and I never had any trouble with him at all. Doshia gave me absolute fits, but for me the Gutsripper fight was a total non-event. Hell, the fight with the assassin trying to kill King Casimir at level 4 almost made me rage-quit (it was only after trying that fight and failing over and over that I decided to go follow the quest that sent me to Stros M'kai - I had no idea you were supposed to do that first, and when I completed the starter islands and came back I had no problem with this fight), but Gutsripper was a walk in the park somehow for me. I know a lot of other people had major issues with him back pre-nerf, but somehow I guess that particular fight just matched up well with my natural playstyle.

I never really had a chance to use that tactic. By the time I got one up, I was on my way to the second. Course back then, the people I raised provided SOME kind of backup. Nowdays they just scamper off with their tails between their legs and I cry inside.

Speaking of vampirism, I never got to try the Camo Hunter stuff since I mainly stuck with magicka builds. =/ I could only imagine the FTC numbers when it was insanely bugged way back when. Kinda tempted to try vampirism again after this patch just to see if it flows well with the CP changes. I removed it because health recovery was just too vital for everything I wanted to do.
