So much hate for Azuras Non-CP move, I feel like we need to applaud ZOS

Making Azura's Star non-CP was one of the best moves ZOS has done in the PvP spectrum, I honestly don't understand all this hate and feel that the following has to be said: Great job ZOS!

I don't hate it, don't remember anyone asking for it though; the way I see it the community asked for no-cp bwb and zos went the extra mile. I don't resent its existence, I just think it will turn into a low-vet campaign; a feeder-campaign for the main campaigns if you will. This isn't a negative thing, but it will be frequented by experienced players who enjoy feeding on clueless players, just like bwb was. From what I can tell the majority or complaints have been about the seemingly aggressive move zos made by choosing the main campign for it. It's kind of a "like it or lump it" move by zos.

When you log on 2 days in a row and see this It dosnt make anyone want to play it. Campaign should of reset with patch being such a long campaign and big change to its play style.

My guess is population is so low because *** loads of players still have login issues or maybe playing TG, idk.

It's probably them playing TG, even most PVPers I know I see that they are in Hew's Bane or some other TG related area.

I actually asked them to try and let the players choose what they like. IMHO theres two different kind of approach to take, if players like no-CP Campaign, turn Champion System into different than power-grab, if they like CP-Campaign keep Champion System as power-grab. Power-grab is quaranteed way to keep players but it tend to cause all kind of problems, its really double-edged sword really.

I personally hope no-CP Campaign is the one that players favors. Power-grab endgame is no good, those who arent going to keep up with the rest gets slaughtered and they leave.

Once more:

ZoS rebalanced the whole game around CPs. End-game sets are depended on CPs. Class builds are depended on CPs. Rotations and playstyles are depended on CPs.

Just because some guys do not like the "grind", it does not mean everyone likes playing an MMO where character progression is non-existant. The game is a lot casual-friendly as it is now. ESO is not GW2... Here by playing, you feel like you actually acomplished something.

I would not consider the current pop for granted, considering the crazy number of people crashing, unable to log in, or just busy farming the new sets in TG.

As for the CP thing... Want a no CP campaign because you're low on CP? Go to Azura. Got a fair amount of CPs and can make a build around it? Go to other campaigns and push the limits. People now have a choice to make, nothing prevents you from switching (almost) whenever you want.

I see Azura as the "newb" campaign for fresh veteran characters (not players), basically where you go once you can't get in BwB anymore.

It is good to have a choice.
It is good that new players have an option where they won't be completely stopmed by long-time players (even if sets and builds were rebalanced around CPs).
It is even better if you take into account all that lag caused by overpopulation.

Nobody puts a gun to your head and forces you to play it, right?

The crashing and log-in problems have nothing to do with Azura's population. Yesterday evening around 6 c.s.t it had all bars at minimum. TF was pop-locked on all three factions. Azura is now a dead campaign and will probably get eliminated three months from now.

Have you guys actually tried it? No. I fended off Warden for 2 hrs last night with 4 other people against 20-25 AD. Its was awesome.

Was there last night chasing a treasure map, seemed dead but then a stam something came along and we fought , I think it was the first time I ever lasted longer then 1 or 2 seconds, it was fun actually I hit him with a heavy bow attack and took 1/4 of his HPs , i was like wth, i figured it wouldn't do much at all. I had forgot about the non CP thing lol. Both of us were VR 16

He had 2 hd sword and I had a bow lol, wasnt there for PVP had no shields up etc, he killed me with WB of course.

Nice now I can go to Cryodil and maybe enjoy a 1 on 1 even though I might not win at least the fight will be worth going there for now instead of death in 2 seconds .

Plus I have 450 CPs.... and don't care.

And you probably won't see. We don't hate it, we are not against it, we just don't wanna play it. As many said, its good to have options for new players, but we'd like to leave it at that. For new players. I'm sorry CPs are here to stay whether you like it or not...

PC EU azura was nice for couple days, now its sucks and dominated by AD.
when people log and find no keeps they dont enjoy pvp.
when 2-3 go to take a resource and get attacked by 30 they switch campaign. thats whats happening today in azura.

It'll be the same AD from last night, day capped it yesterday also. I'm not bothered about AvA stuff though tbh. I just want the kills

Just ask a handful of guildies to join the campaign, you'll kill all of them, they're terrible!

As many people said not wanting to play is not the same as hating it. I personally and many people I know ignore it because our pvp gear focuses mostly on damage and maximizing main stats while we get a lot of recovery and cost reduction from cp passives. If we wanted to be equally effective we would have to craft another set of gear like willow's path to have enough regen to sustain the playstyle that we got used to.

Looks like all the players singing Azura's Star's praises are AD. What's so fun about the no CP campaign when it's just another AD show. It's not really PvP when you're not fighting against anyone. If that's what AD folks like then, yeah, I guess ZOS hooked you guys up.

Really, because I've seen players want it in zone chat and elsewhere since before the CP cap. The cap may have quieted it down a bit, but the requests were there.

I doubt this is the reason since both Had and True have looked pretty full the last two nights.
