Strange error, Error 206 - PatchManifestError_UnzipFailed

Anyone else getting this error? Just started the launcher and it popped up.I have logged in since TG updated and played so not the first time I have played post latest patch. I restarted the launcher a few times, no joy. I clicked repair and instead of repairing it throws up the error. Will be a little miffed if I have to reinstall my game.

Oh well, looks like it's an evening of uni note reading on the ethics of product placement in video games :'(

There was a hotfix just a few minutes ago - try launching the game from the eso.exe or eso64.exe file instead and see if that works. This error happens to everyone occasionally, you probably do not need to reinstall, just bypass the launcher.

@Epona222 thanks, forgot about that. That seemed to do the trick. Right, time for some gaming, before something else breaks in the game!

You can usually just exit the launcher and restart it in order to get rid of this error, it's something that creeps back in after some patches but generally clears itself after a few days. Until then you can close/reopen the launcher or run the game direct from the exe file.
