Why is this game still in beta phase?

Zos can you give us an answer? Its been 2 years now and this game crashes more than nascar. What is going on? How can you do this to your fans?

The Burning Crusade had already been released when WoW was 3 years old. They had their stuff pretty well together at that point. BC was probably the best raiding/MMO experience I've ever had in MMOs.

Every time they get it stable they push out a new update which breaks everything again instead of fixing it after testing on PTS. Really, delay broken patches and FIX them before pushing to live. You are doing more harm than good by meeting you artificial deadline.

The game almost never crashes for me, and the only times it ever has is during Pvp in Cyrodiil. I'm guessing it's either your internet or your system. What are you playing on? If you're playing on a Centrino laptop, I imagine you will experience a lot of crashes for any game.

I played wow back then (vanilla day 1 till wotlk) and tbh I don't remember them having problems. Well, the first year was rough, no argueing that, but later...not so sure.

The whole reason I am not playing is there are like 10,000 people running like crazy all over hews bane. Far far too crowded for me to enjoy myself. So it must be working for a lot of people. Only issues Ive had are the NPCs giving the talking animations but I hear nothing. Also I hear random sounds for no reason sometimes. On the 64 bit client.

We couldn't complete Fungal Grotto yesterday because of 8 crashes in our group in the first half of the dungeon. Have you played this patch???

I havent done any vet dungeons but the rest of the game seems to run ok without crashing. Are you only crashing in dungeons?

Yeah, not a hardware problem. I hadn't crashed in months, and was averaging a crash every 10-15 minutes last night.

Also does your group run the same addons? Have you tried disabling all addons and seeing if you still crash?

Dungeons were by far the worst, but several other areas of the game as well. No addon issues.

When you say no addon issues does that mean you tried it without any addons and it still crashes?

I have a lesser machine, (AMD 6300, 3.5 Ghz, 16 GB DDR3, GTX 960) but I have stuck to tried and true Windows 7, so maybe that's the culprit there. I also almost never play group content, so no, I haven't played Fungal Grotto in 6 months or more.

I'm a Microsoft Certified appplication developer, and I have learned to NEVER switch to a new version of Windows until the first service pack has been out at least a year.

Just my 2 cents.

I havent had a single crash but Ive also never been grouped. I also was doing things outside of hews bane because its crowded like black friday at walmart. So really havent played much. Did the daily quests in wrothgar. Turned in my writs for the day on all my characters. Then on my main character I did the instance thingy before you can actually go to hews bane. No problems at all except some various sound issues like NPCs making talking animations but no sound. Hear water sometimes even when Im not near it.

Some of the others in our group and guild were running Windows 7 and still crashing along side us, so I doubt it's specific to 10.

There was still tons of glitches and bugs around 3 year mark, but when they managed to get it to work, it was flawless all the way.

It's funny how WOW is always brought up,yet it was Everquest that define what MMOs are today. WOW sucked!!

Ultima online was great,but it wasn't nothing like Everquest. Everquest became know as Evercrack. That game cost people there jobs and marriages. What other MMO has done that. I had a very hard time leaving that game.
