My first question is about enlightenment, so I was told, please correct me if i am wrong, enlightenment stacks to the account not a specific character and is earned by not using a vet rank toon for so long. So two vet rank characters both earn enlightenment and can be used up by either or right? If so, what is the maximum amount of time an account can be enlightened for?

Also I was told after three champion points earned you lose enlightenment, which I think is false because I am fairly certain I have earned more than three without losing enlightenment, again correct me if I am wrong. The other questions I have are about the removal of Vet ranks, I was also fairly certain that was going through, but I was just told I'm an idiot and that was just a rumor so I wanted clarification on it but I don't know maybe I am an idiot

If that is so, I was also told with the removal you will receive 10 champion points for every vet rank earned on your highest level vet rank character, but not 10 for each vet rank earned account wide, just a single character. I guess I am asking for the development team to reconsider this, because I do not have a vet 16 toon, but I do have 7 vet rank chars.

I am obviously not asking for 10 champion points for each vet rank char, but I have spent just as much time on my characters as many vet rank 16's have, if not more. I just happen to really enjoy the character building aspect of the game and trying out different builds and combinations and like being able to switch around between builds. I just don't want to miss out on those champion points because of it.

Being as my highest level vet rank is 9, that's a total of 70 points I would miss out on. Even if the champion points where awarded for total amount of experience earned on veteran characters, with a maximum of 160 which would be awarded at the equivalent amount of total exp it takes to reach veteran rank 16.

My final questions are about the theives guild update, I read something about 300 champion points being awarded along with a vet rank 16 template. Now do those champion points go towards your total champion rank or is that only to be used on the new template character? Also will we be given an extra character slot for those of us who are already maxed on slots, so we can avoid deleting an older toon.

And to be awarded these will my ESO plus membership cut it or will I have to purchase the DLC seperate? I am not sure how to get the attention of a develapor or ambassador so if possible could one of you do so in the comments? thanks for reading and any help you can offer

Hi everyone!

We’ve been seeing a lot of confusion over Enlightenment and how the system works, so we wanted to explain it a bit more thoroughly for you. In simplest terms, Enlightenment is a bonus for the XP you earn while playing that counts toward your Champion Point progression.

Every 24 hours, you receive enough Enlightenment to earn one Champion Point at the rate of 100,000XP per Point; after your Enlightenment is used up, you will return to requiring 400,000XP to earn a Champion Point. The 24 hour timer starts when you log in with your first Veteran character or unlock the Champion System, whichever is first, and resets every 24 hours after it first starts. You will receive a message on your screen that you are Enlightened, and you can also hover over your XP bar to see if you are Enlightened.

If you end up not using up all your Enlightenment while you play, it will continue to accrue for a maximum of 12 days. Once you hit the limit, you will not gain any additional Enlightenment until you begin to use it by gaining XP.
