Crash on Loot (or only on Mac?)

Is this a widespread issue?

I've been testing this, and currently (on Mac) the crash rate is at 100% for looting, be it containers or corpses.

I'm curious if Windows users have been experiencing this as well, and if all Mac users have been experiencing this?

Windows 7, 64bit Client, no issues with looting or crashing here. :)
    When people say to me........

I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

It's something we're aware of, @spoqster, and are working on a fix for it. To be clear, it's currently only affecting the Mac client.

Thx for the info. May actually be a mac-related issue.

Alright. Thanks for the info. I believe I've experienced it on PTS already. But it may be hard to pinpoint.

Anyway. It's good to know you're on to it. Just let the devs know that this particular issue is pretty bad, because it disables normal play.

Is there going to be a fix anytime soon, or should I abandon the game for a little while.

@ZOS_GinaBruno This is happening on x64 PC client as well. It happened to me twice on treasure map chests, and when I log back in the chest is gone, as is my map.

Update: Looks like this may be tied to auto-loot. While we continue to work on a fix, try turning auto-loot off in the Settings and see if that helps.

I had the same problem with my Macbook pro crashing while looting after the Thief DLC patch. I turned off the auto loot and seems to be working fine now. HAs something to do with the autoloot script on MACs, also running at Ultra High performance. Hope they get a patch fix soon.
