Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

We got to accept that Templars are made as a support role. It can never be as good as a tank or dps character as the other classes. ESO is making sure it remains that way - just a support character of the other classes.
Heck I won't be surprised if there is a position that always checks the Templar if it's getting better at something so they can nerf it as soon as possible.
