NERF PHYSICAL-DAMAGE-BUILDS (PvP) - SOON

    I play all of the classes, both magicka and stamina of each...and I do both PvE and PvP. So, from a completely unbiased point of view...

    I do not see what all of the whining is all about. Everyone really needs to calm down and grow up. It is the "us vs them", both stam vs mag and PvP vs PvE, that is ruining the game. This whining contributes to a snowball effect. Just stop whining! Stop demanding nerfs. Time to elevate some skills/classes t be on par with others rather than wanting everything nerfed into the ground.

    Fact: Stam currently hits just as hard, if not harder, than most magicka builds/skills. Physical dmg reduction was necessary. There is a reason we see overwhelmingly more stam NBs in Cyrodiil and IC than any other class. My TTK is quicker on my Stam NB than any of my other toons.

    Facts: There were many ways in the CP tree to mitigate magicka damage. The ways to mitigate physical were complete garbage. From a purely CP perspective, this change is 'balance', and is much needed.

    Also when discussing CPs, keep in mind they aligned poison, disease, and physical so there are some physical builds that will benefit from this in the same way some magicka builds will benefit from the realigning of magicka under Elemental (tho see Fact below before jumping on this point about skills that should benefit that currently do not).

    Furthermore, in the same way that physical is mitigated, shields are now going to take more damage. We will need time to see how effective this change proves against shields.

    Fact: More effective physical dmg reduction in the CPs will benefit everyone in PvE; both magicka and stamina toons alike. Most will benefit mutually in PvP as well.

    Fact: The bigger issue is that stamina did not really receive due diligence and love in this update. There are no new stam class skills to help StamDKs and StamSorcs maintain their class identity. They did not scale some of the Ults and skills to physical, poison, or disease the way they should have for them to benefit from the CP realignment (tho note that Fighters Guild skills SHOULD NOT scale to physical).

    If you are going to QQ, please QQ about the correct issues...as many of you alude to it in your rants anyway. CP mitigating physical damage more effectively is balance, and is good. However, the devs not giving due diligence to stamina skills and not scaling many current skills to Mighty CP vice magicka is a pretty big let down and is a set back for stamina builds, as it would certainly help compensate for some of the dmg loss due to the CP realignment. However, the devs have acknowledged this and said the next update will focus more indepth on stam. Yes, it sucks that the changes did not come this patch as part of the bundle, and yes, my stam toons do feel a bit left out. However, this is not the end of the world. And personally, I am excited about the possibility of a poison DoT StamDK.

    Anyway, I can only assume the vast majority of you are grown adults. Please be civil and act like grown adults. Lets all stop the constant demands for nerfs as the snowball effect will ultimately destroy the game we all love. And if we are going to keep this, and other similar threads alive and full of heated debate, please let's focus on the correct issue... The devs really need to give individual stam skills some love; it's time for all classes to maintain their class feel and identity vice being reliant on weapon skill lines and the majority of stam skills need to scale to a Mighty CP (physical, poison, or disease).

    As an aside, when discussing these issues, let's try to be unbiased in our requests for stam morphs of skills. Example, a request for a stam DK whip is common, and I honestly think StamDKs deserve this. However, both current morphs of the whip are needed by magicka toons (Molten for PvE and Flame Lash for PvP). Maybe it is time we think outside the box and request a third morph option for stamina vice playing tug-of-war over the current two morphs for skills/skill lines.

    Okay here's what you do about Physical damage ultimates. The following ultimates should do physical damage:

    1. Incapacitating Strike
    2. Power Overload
    3. Empowering Sweep
    4. Flawless Dawnbreaker

    Close to problem solved. Sort of. Kind of. Maybe.

    They actually stated that weapons will be looked at for the Dark Brotherhood so it's likely any issues you have are going to be addressed with in 3-4 months ... that's better then the nirnhoned bug.

    This is simply balancing CP and should have happened when the introduced CP. It's AMAZING that ZOS rolled out CP in the crappy state that it did. Yet still seems like par for them.

    Lets hope this is balance with more stam morphs of class skills and equality for all.

    Yes, but they also thought it a good idea to have a non-vet pvp campaign that allowed the use of CPs. One must really wonder about the forethought effort.

    Healing ward is a tad op when spammed I agree there. Shieldstacking is also an issue here with healward.
