Hi guys n gals.

So as a newer dedicated healer (magicka temp) what 1 would give better heals or better benefit ?

Any help on this matter would be great. Thank you !

Both work out roughly the same but Thaumaturge lets you do damage also.

Blessed for healing, thaumatuge for damage.

So if you're a dedicated healer, focus on blessed.

Also put some in the damage and heal crit champion point (forgot the name of it sorry) so when your heals crit, it heals that bit more.

Putting some into Thaumaturge is useful as well. Healer should be doing some dps as well as healing in most cases anyway.

My templar healer has 100 cp in thaumaturge as my heals are strong enough for all pve content anyway. The only situation where I'd prefer blessed would be for a pure healer in group pvp.

Yeh, I think I have 10 in blessed, 30 in the crit one and like 70 something in thaumatuge then.

Pve healing is fine with it and o'm constantly helping with dps as well.

IF your a dungeon healer mainly then go with Blessed. If your a PVP Healer, go 50/50 Blessed/Thaumaturge as you'll need to be able to do decent damage to defend yourself.

When I look at my skills after changing between Blessed and Thaumaturge I noticed that my Breath of Life hits for the exact same amount of heals when I switch my points between the two. Is this an incorrect way to look at this? Some of my damage moves are more powerful now that most everything is in Thaum however my Breath of Life stays the same when taking everything off of Blessed and moving it to Thaum.

You want 30 points into the apprentice to get spell crit passive I'd put mostly in elfborn but it rounds down so if you have 4.2 increase in elfborn it's the same as 4 so be careful. You want majority of the 30 in elfborn and then maybe spell erosion. After you get the spell crit passive move to ritual to max thaumaturge. This will change when thieves guild goes live and everything you need will be in apprentice. If you exclusively want to heal then blessed will be useful but most get very powerful heals and are able to great damage by using elfborn and thaum, which is reccommend
