Black Screen before Developer Credits/Cinematic

Hey folks.
When I start the game, I keep getting stuck on a black screen (mouse pointer thinking, game launched) but it never moves on to the developer credits. I've tried everything I can think of, and everything I can find here on the forums to fix it, and it isn't working. I've submitted a ticket, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Does anyone here have any suggestions?
