I have recently started playing and am enjoying PVP. My ideal playstyle includes 1) using the bow, 2) debuffing or applying dots on enemy players, and 3) buffing teammates. I'm much more of an "assist" player than the type of player who deals max damage and tries to get solo kills. With this in mind I want to share my idea for a multi-purpose support build and get some feedback, especially from DK players because I have never played a DK. The recent PTS changes look pretty nice for support purposes and this is what I'm thinking...
Race: Wood Elf
Class: Dragonknight
Weapon: Bow
Ultimate - Magma Shell (to grant allies a powerful damage shield)
Slot 1 - Lethal Arrow (to attack enemies from a distance and apply them with a healing debuff)
Slot 2 - Igneous Weapons (to grant allies Major Brutality and Sorcery, along with Minor Brutality from Mountain's Blessing passive)
Slot 3 - Igneous Shield (to apply a damage shield for allies)
Slot 4 - Poison Injection (to apply enemies with a DOT)
Slot 5 - Cauterize (for enhanced critical and a small heal for an ally)
Not sure what I want to use as my second bar, yet.
Is this the kind of build other players would generally enjoy roaming Cyrodil with? Do you have suggestions on how to improve this kind of build? I assume healers are in high demand but I'm a little too much in love with the bow to use the restoration staff and would prefer to be that guy who weakens enemies while buffing teammates. Thanks!
