I only recently just unlocked this but how does it work exactly? Do I have to wear 7/1/1 to get the bonus magicka health and stamina or lets say I just wear 7/7 light for the max magicka bonus or does the entire bonus only apply if I wear at least one of each?

    You get 2% for wearing 1 armor type 4% for two and 6% for three. If you want to maximize it you wear 5/1/1

    Its better to wear 5 pieces of your "main" type of armor and 1/1 of the rest.
    For example, 5 medium, 1 heavy, 1 light. Or 5 light, 1 medium, 1 heavy.

    If you've unlocked the first rank of the passive and put a point in it, then if you wear at least 1 piece of each type of armour you gain an additional 3% to magicka, health, and stamina. If you're wearing all light armour except for 1 piece of heavy, you'd gain an additional 2% to magicka, health, and stamina.

    For clarity, that's how the numbers work if you've got the second rank of the passive unlocked with a skill point. As OP has just unlocked the passive, it will be the first rank, so the numbers will be half what's stated here.

    @Malmai

    Ummm... no.

    Lets say I have around 40k magicka (My main is a magicka DPS)... I put 2 points in undaunted mettle and wear 5L 1M 1H......which gives me an added 4% on all stats, this means for my build I gain approximately an extra:

    2.5k Magicka
    750 health
    450 Stamina

    Those are VERY significant numbers... especially if you are a DPS and therefore need to increase your main resource pool as much as you can.

    I was looking at this a minute ago for the new Stamina toon I started last night.

    If you're building toward stealth and weapon damage for PvP purposes, do you feel that UM make up for the loss of 8% Stamina regen/cost reduction/sprint speed/sneak cost/dodge roll cost, along with some Weapon Crit and 12% stealth detection radius?

    The reason I'm asking is that I'm just starting this toon, and I wouldn't BEGIN to know how to theorycraft something like this for the VR16 future.

    Thanks in advance!

    :)
