How are the new changes going to effect your game style, will you be switching to a new class? Or are you loyal till death? (Well until the next TES game).

I love the Nightblade skillsets,and the easy way they seem to level up. And before anyone says it,..I do NOT use the Shadow skills at all.
Unless sneaking past a crapload of tigers laying around.

Mag Templar, highly survivable solo, and even though we are getting our BOL nerfed it matters little to a solo PvE player. Groups melt with the aoe pressure they can apply and although other classes hit harder, after a hard days work I don't have to think to hard on the outcome of a fight with multiple enemies.

Group dungeons are fine currently with a templar, but I am thinking I will level a sorc for when thieves guild comes out. Simply because I don't want to be the guy getting blamed for the wipe when you have a hard time keeping pug party members alive that won't stay out of red circles when BOL becomes less effective.

All in all though if you want an easy PvE class that requires little thought to kill stuff, a templar is my go to soloer to for now.

A High Elven magicka sorcerer in the Pact, armed with his mighty frost staff and duel wield swords which he looks absolutely ridiculous using but apparently holding them improves his spell-casting ability. He's an odd one

Templar.

Specifically a khajiit Templar with a hybrid magicka/stamina build and a Breton healer (magicka) Templar.

And no I won't be changing that because of the next update. I didn't change it because of any of the previous ones either. Balance is always going to change with updates and I cannot see any point chasing it in circles between different characters, I'd rather just get on with playing what I enjoy.

I don't know which of my Magicka characters I play the most on PvE. Probably either Magicka Sorcerer or Magicka Templar. I don't play my Stamina characters nearly as much.

From a PVE side of things:

I generally DPS on my Magic DK. Despite the nerfs that destroyed them in PVP, they are still amazing for PVE DPS. I heal on my Templar, but I heal less often than I DPS. I run VMA and occasioanlly DPS on my Sorc. The single target with full overload on a sorc is better, but I do more total DPS throughout a dungeon on my DK because the AOE is far superior. MY NB is currently spec'ed for PVP, but I do run WGT on her when its the daily.

I picked sorc because I don't PvE on my DK anymore...

But in all honesty I don't play my sorc anymore eiether

So the real question would be what class do I PvE with at present, which would be Stam Nightblade a.k.a. spin2win followed my Mag Templar.

But to answer your question OP yes I will switch my main from Stam DK to Mag DK ( he use to be mag DK anyway up until mid January 2016 )

The changes will affect my game play style positively because:

Okay first off for these "I hate PvE" dudes— How can you hate on something that is pretty much significantly more dominant than PvP?

You can't PvP without PvE, period.

Who's going to craft your armor?
How are you going to level Alchemy?
How are you going to do Provisioning?
How are you going to farm Legendary Upgrade Materials?

Seems like these "Only PvP" people heavily rely on others to get stuff for them.

Hmm…. The characters I have played with most at this point in time (and I am mostly a solo PvE person) have been Magicka Nightblades and Sorcerers, with restoration staff as the secondary weapon. With Nightblades Siphoning is my most used skill line, though I do like shadow-cloak for sneaking though areas I can’t handle on my own, or when I just want to get somewhere and not spend the time killing everything between point A and point B. With Sorcerers I have used a mixture of all the skill lines. I’m really not fond of the appearance of the summons in this game but… it’s sure nice to have my own personal little group to divide the enemies’ attention while I take them down one by one. I enjoy using the dark magic and storm calling abilities much more though, as well as destruction staff. I always have the restoration staff on hand just to get myself out of a bind but I don’t put that many points into it. I also like using bows because they are ranged but because they use stamina it’s nice to sort of fill in with that while my magicka recovers.

I also have some templars and dragon knights, I just haven’t gotten around to leveling them much yet. I have to say the dragon knights skills are my least favorites though. I do mostly prefer magicka and class skills over weapon skills and stamina builds.

Imperial stamina templar - double 2 handed with all points into stam. I use brawler and Sun shields for maximum survivability, jabs and critical rush for my bread and butter dps with devouring bats as an ultimate because why tf not lol. This template has a dark side.

High Elf Sorc VR 16 based out of Auridon. Not in any Guild. Don't group.

Play only PvE, solo and as a Pet Mage exclusively.

Use Destro fire staff and Resto staff (rarely), Hardened Ward, Crystal Frags, Voracious Curse, two pets slotted and Ultima is Greater Storm Atronach.

I don't use my other bar anymore.

I made my Legendary light armour to VR 15 with Health enchants. My Legendary weapos are also VR 15 self made with magicka/absorb damage or health/absorb damage on Resto staff.

Jewellery is rng 3 set stuff at VR 15 from loot drops in PvE. Because I don't PvP, self-made enchanted VR 16 gear is not possible but I am (relatively) happy with my build.

I'll stick with my glass canon pet mage until death and yes, when the next TES is released I will drop ESO in a heartbeat lol.

FWIW, my other 7 alts are not mages because I am trying to L2P the other clasees/builds so I can gain some variety. But honestly, I don't know what all the fuss is about NB being so uber and DKs being so popular and Templars being so exclusive because the Sorc is the best class I can play by a long shot. But that is just me I suppose. lol

Play Magicka Sorc the most due to OP Overload. Prefer to play Magicka NB but the DPS just isn't the same.
