Personally this change doesn't bother me because the move was crap. However I'm not going to pretend that this was a fair change. Now Cloak is going to be like Immovable. A move that's kind of useful but not really.

Now when cloak was nerfed they actually need to put some effort and strategy to win fights.
And they don't want to. Typical childish behavior.
I'd just like to point out, the Nightblade class is essentially meant to be an "Assassin". That being said, an Assassin's mindset isn't to get into a back-and-forth fight. It's to assassinate (or deal a lot of damage in a very small window). So, as a Nightblade, my "strategy" is to deal as much damage as I can within a very small window. If that person doesn't die or it is taking longer than expected, I'll escape back into the shadows and figure out a better strategy to take that person out (either by getting assistance or waiting for them to be off guard). If someone chose to be a Nightblade, it's most likely because they like the idea of being an assassin/hunter and want to adapt to that playstyle in ESO.

Comparing major defile which you can purge vs a lockout of a skill? Right

The changes being made are solid counters but not by any means eliminating cloak. Cloak will still be OP to skilled players. With a little theory crafting Nightblades will be just fine. L2P
I know this is a mockery of araxleons thread but.
What if evil hunter did this:
Gave the person having it slotted 2% max stan and stam regen
The crit as it have now
And "Prevents enemy from using a damage shield for 5 second".
How would you like that? Balanced? Noo it's our main defense yada yada.
And don't give me a bs reply about using shieldbreaker. lightattacks which has a cooldown and are outhealable isn't close to what magelight does to cloak (oh and aoe and detection pots)
How if there was a pot that made me ignore damage shields?
What if some specific attack made shields useless (like aoe for example) ?
Not even comparable for one second, but whatever floats your boat
FYI: I will think outside the box as NB has been my main since launch
@Masrer_Kas good eye, but there is truth to what i say. I would say both the NB and Sorc classes cry like no other. I give props to DKs for the lack of QQ and temp have always been sub par so that's all they know and may not even know they should be qq'ing..lol.. to all fairness, I don't want to see the nerf, but only if they put reflect and GDB back to how it was, tone down the nerfs on sorcs and if the temps aren't a healing class, get rid of the healing tree and give them something else. But... none of this will happen, all classes have dealt with huge nerfs and now it is the NB turn. NB have been screaming their class is broken for years, but have also been the main antagonists in the nerfs of other classes. When you point at someone you have three finger pointing back, just a reminder for all classes/races. Now, it is time to think outside the box and maybe we all can learn from this and begin to have some linear thinking and how these ripples will damage our beloved game.
Fully agreedAlready have somethings in mind for my stamina nightblade. Will be fun when probably alot of players will roll back to magicka specs.
The nerfs was coming, was just a matter of time. We'll see where it takes us.

true but there is a counter to healing if you want it so that's not bad.
just no real counter to reflect and shields (i dont count a niche set as a counter because you gimmick yourself to only be strong to your counter and lose to all the rest)
that was the point i was making. and cloak already had the most counters.
Learn to adapt like all other classes, changes classes or leave. [snip]
