[Request] Hide Shield Option

There's a hide helmet option, so why not a hide shield option? Only for outside of combat of course. It looks so much better being able to see my chars back. seeing the shield on my chars back makes me not want to play 1h and shield just because it looks so awful. opinions?

    no, not only would that be confusing to others, i've been waiting a LONG time for a game that showed shields on the back, it looks better with the shield btw

    maybe move the shield to the side of the hip then? i don't like that it covers up 60% of my back. it makes the dark seducer armor almost worthless

    Just weapon swap unless you have sword and shield on both bars.

    that's what i've been doing. it's just annoying to constantly have to do; especially when you get on your horse and forget to do it so you're stuck seeing a shield on your back.

    She's got a lot of early onset cellulite back fat going on...the shield is doing her a ton of favors.

    Ha...j/k. Doesn't the shield sit on your wrist for 95% of play?

    not for me. most of the time i'm riding on my horse doing a quest objective

    I hope ZOS will one day allow Puncture, Low Slash, Flying Blade, and Blade Cloak be usable without a Shield/offhand. Either this, or a One-Handed skill tree :)

    You can swap weapons while on horse nowadays...

    your shield will still be equipped. just not visible when not in combat.

    Or maybe and follow me here..... ZOS puts swords on backs instead so you have both a sword and shield on your back cause lets be honest here that look is more bad ass.
