In is not even a gank - a gank is something what is done in peace times, but there is war in Cyrrodil and any dead enemy is a good enemy. This is simply a fact in Cyrrodil and the IC is in the very heart of it. Lol my favourite. Burma -> when they come in the house drop a bear trap at the door behind them then whisper them. "You have 5 seconds to get our or will surely die", then proceed to WB whilst they're stuck in the trap fleeing for their lives.

Im not gonna lie, getting merked by a couple of maxed out players one minute after popping an exp scroll on my level 20 something is easily the most aggravating thing that has happened to me in this game. BUT, I except that it comes with the cyrodiilic territory. And I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

Why? Because they give really good exp.

Seriously, calling in a guild mate and murdering them over and over while you do your dailies is definitely the fastest way to level. And obviously them being the pathetic saps that they are makes it all the more satisfying.

It makes levelling characters so much fun. You see, this V16 stam blade once spotted me, a lowly level 40ish DK Noob. But what he was really lookin at was a freshly geared, 300 CP experienced player. My magma armor and wrecking blows thought that swine quite the lesson, and it was GLORIOUS!!!

well it's kinda sad when you see 3 people ganking questers at the questing hubs from stealth. it's unskilled and annoying but you have to deal with it.
and for the griefers who do this, you are probably the same people who try this in IC and get countered by people zerging. guess what, you are the reason for doing *** like this.
and the people who grief and ganking spots are most of the times terreble. i'm mostly a PvE player and even on my TEMPLAR i won a 2 vs 1 vs those wannabe anygood PvPers

Sorry, I did not know that it is possible to kill same faction members in Cyrrodil - I am still low level and never visited Cyrrodil yet. I find this somewhat awkward to be able to kill same faction members in a war.

Not that I gank pve dailies in cyro but at this point, there is no where to go to get a good fight in cyro because it caters entirely to large group to such an extent now that solo play is pointless. Allow solo players to stand a chance vs groups and they might actually go somewhere where there is a challenging fight.

The very nature of an assassin is to kill from stealth and in an unfair way - that is what assassins do. To expect morale of a knight and a somewhat fair competition is dueling, but not warfare - war is dirty and unfair. And to quasi-quote Sun Tzu in the art of war - do not start a fight if you have not already won it - an assassin follows this rule to the most - a clean safe kill.

While I was skyshard collecting on an alt last night I was going through a dungeon and started getting attacked from behind in my mind I thought "that's impossible I killed everything" I turn around and see a player who was looking for a fight so we battled for about a min until I got pwned, I wasn't bothering anyone and trying to do any pvp originally but did I get mad and start yelling about how it isn't fair.
NO!!! I DID NOT, I applauded this person and went on my merry way allllll the way back to my keep for that long trek of shame back.
The point is if you go into an area with pvp expect to get attacked its a part of it, I understand the mind frame of "I wasn't doing anything to anyone" but the fact of the matter is that doesn't make a difference, to expect someone to not attack you when givin the opportunity is entirely outlandish.

This coming from someone who mostly plays PVE but I do enjoy PVP

Around launch all these towns were the most fun spots in Cyrodiil. The quests were infinitely repeatable, so they were always filled with players leveling to V10 by doing the quests, gankers, people who came to gank the gankers and then others bringing their whole guild to get revenge on someone who ganked them 20 minutes ago.

Personally I'd love for these to be repeatable again - more action in the towns, fun way to level in PVP and lots of small scale battles.

I personally would not do it - but that is just me, I do not blame those, who do it, because it is a war zone. When I will go there, I will have in mind, that I might not return in a normal way - this is just the nature of a war zone, you might get killed, even if you are a very good player, the time will come, when you end up dead. If I could not accept this, I would simply not go there.

This discussion has been locked due to the bashing and trolling nature of the subject.
