Bug with Night Mother Gaze set

So basically in the first photo, my helm of the NMG is unequipped, showing you the weapon damage before equipping the helm which was the 3rd piece.
In the second photo i equipped it and it does not show any increase in my weapon damage.
Third photo is the proof that i have the 3rd piece equipped but still the weapon damage wasn't changed, as you can see the dimmed value of 2847 stlll.
Any solutions?

Remove helm,
Hit some npc baddie,
Fit helm and do the same to baddie,
Check damage...

✭✭I recently contacted support about this exact issue and they said it's a UI error and to reset ps4 and stuff. Idk my tooltip damage doesn't change either and since I'm not on PC, I can't see what kind of damage I'm dealing0 -

✭✭This happens with agility weapons. If you have 3 weapons, your weapon damage is actually increased as if you had the 3 set active when in reality you only have 1-2 pieces equipped at one time.
A very annoying bug. Your damage may be lower then you think. Make sure your weapons are not of the same set and the issue fixes.

i found out why, because somehow my greatsword of the night mother on my offhand actually gave the weapon damage just by the weapons alone (2 from DW and 1 from offhand) so equipping the helm had no difference.0
