How much is too much fire resist for vampires?

I think I might be over the hard cap, I have two v16 fire resist enchanted rings (3250 each).

I know there's supposed to be a resist hard and soft cap - but I don't know what it is

If anyone is familiar with the Extended Stats addon this is what it shows

That's roughly about 7% or 8% flame resistance you have there last I heard, vampires have a 25% weakness to fire so they will take 25% greater damage from fire attacks.

Is it for PvP or PvE?

If it happens to be for PvE, just dump a lot of CP into elemental defender which most people do anyway, and use your jewelry enchants for something way better.

You're at about half of hard cap, and there's no soft cap.
You have about 25% fire resist, about 10% of that being from the rings.

I dunno i think everyone in this thread is wrong. 6500 resist is a lot. Back in the day it was 2100 enchant's and i believe that was 10% by itself.

It would be nice if Zos threw away these stupid number's though. No one even know's what the hell they mean (majority). Give us back percentage's. It make's no sense.

That was back in the day, currently a elemental resist type is really weak.
