I know the thieves guild patch is coming in a month lol. But to me it just seems like more of the same stuff. I really really enjoy this game but to me there feels like there's something missing. They only thing you can do is fight mobs for gear. Yea I do realize that's what you do in mmo games but there needs to be something more than just gear hunting. To be honest it doesnt even feel like it needed in this game. I can go and kill 20 mobs at my current level and have new gear if needed. Sure is not the best gear I could have but does the job. That's just the gear problem lol

The crafting in this game to me as someone who LOVES to craft in games just doesn't feel like a reason for me to craft most of my levels are past 45 But besides the daily writs I don't craft. The crafting on here is like a prequel to a vanilla craft. There is no steps needed in crafting on here. Making the ingots or refined raw materials doesn't feel like a normal step in the process of making items to me. There's no chance at high quality items it's all the same. To make those you just add tannins to the item and that it. There is no craft specialization everyone is the same. There is the motifs but hell it's so hard to see in game what your making unless you've checked via a Google search you might not even know what it is besides man that person's armor out weapon looks cool wish I knew what it was. You can't examine other gamers gear to see what it is. And that's all just for armor and gear crafting.

I will say that I honestly think Alchemy on here is top notch. Probably one of the better alchemy crafting schemes I've seen.

Then provisioning... Finding the recipes is awesome love it! But after 10 days of a dlc coming out the markets are flooded with green recipes. I mean hell it's like giving out free cheese even you ain't even wanting food. Kill a black bear he's some free cheese. Complete a writ here's some free cheese. Rob a house there's more free cheese. It's almost as bad as people standing on their front lawn giving out Halloween candy to everyone passing by in the middle of summer. Way too many green recipes. And the actual crafting on the recipes is again prequel to vanilla. There's no prerequisite crafting. You just throw items into a pot and bam you've got gourmet meals. The only difference in the foods is the amount of items needed. And just recently with the raw purple ingredients was there any challenge tho getting the materials. In fact to get the provisioning materials you either pay 150 for a single carrot or you steal them. Well that's not even remotely close to realistic. Not everyone wants to run around stealing food stuffs lol.

The fishing is another area at first I thought was lame. Why can't I throw a pole in the water anywhere I want and catch a fish. Well even in the real world there are schools of fish and if you ain't onto the school you probably won't catch a fish. So in that aspect awesome I love it. Then you fillet the fish in hopes of perfect roe let's be honest. But for some reason the fillets all become "fish". No distinction is made between them. Rare fish are not even filletable that would ad extra rare ingredients to food dishes. Just like tendon rare meat or bone or leather droppings from special monsters like those special world monsters or ones from dolemns. These would make crafting something to do as they could increase the ratings on the weapons and still could be crafted into said motifs.

And then there is no housing. With housing you could special special wood or dig for special gems or wait for it grow your own 150 vendor priced carrots and not have to be a common thief just to be a cook...

Anyways after ask this I still have hope for the game I still need my mount stats raised and a few traits learned so I'll keep logging in fit that. And stockpiling the raw mats I get daily instead of actually having to gather them or pay for someone else to gather them :)

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

With fishing I found that specific fish holes in certain locations give with a very high probability rare fish if you use the correct bait for this location. Other bait might just give normal fish or used bait instead in the same location. So basically fishing is about testing what you get where with what kind of bait and figure out, which is a good fish hole to catch rare fish on a regular basis. So I keep testing different locations and make a list what I caught where with which bait. Another thing to know is that fishing with several people using the same fish hole at the same time will raise the probability as well.

What I miss with crafting or better with armor tool-tips is the style mentioned in text. It is often hard to find out just from the look of the icon what style it actually is. IMO such an information belongs into the tool tip when you hover over the armor.

Yeah, I agree with crafting part. It is way too dumbed down and over-simplified - apart from long research times there is hardly any challenging aspect for crafts.
There should be challenges and rare ingredients tied to other aspects of the game. For example, creating some legendary end-game items should require a unique ingredient obtained for example from named mobs, bosses, dungeons etc.
Having motifs as the only dangling carrot for crafters IMO is not enough - that is just a plain old grind, a mechanic outdated as hell.

Now I am not really suggesting to change the current mechanics - I have nothing against having the option to quickly craft a generic gear set for a friend or alt, but instead add some new, interesting and challenging tiers for more end-game stuff that require more of an effort than just having x amount of ingots and a motif/trait stone.
    Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Dermont - v16 Pompous Altmer Sorcerer (With a very arrogant face!)
Egonieser - v16 Nord Stamina Dragonborn Wannabe
Endoly - v16 Tiny Redguard Sharpened MaceBlade
Egosalina - v16 Breton Cheesus Beam Specialist
Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar
    (CP 830+)

Yeah, implementing major changes 4 times a year is a very bad idea.
No proper testing, no balancing, nothing..
Profanity filter is a crime against the freedom of speech. Also gags.

Yes, i have said it before, and say it again! This game needs more diversity, it's all just grinding, and with the bad RNG, even that's frustrating more than usually.

Give us all kinds of other things to do, than dozens of similar quests (even tho the dialoque is great), and just mob farming.

Hopefully we get the player housing, or at least guild housing! harder to find crafting materials for some uber set. So that it would really feel like a uber set.

ESo has huge potential, but they just don't take it :( Less fetch quests, no 6 similar delves within an area. Spend that time to other aspects of the game.

But the Champion system adds so much content guys. You can grind for that next 1% and then the next 1% after that.

That alone should hook you for the next DLC.
