Ok I am so *** pissed at IC...

see, i am a PVE'ler so i have no skill in PvP and to find random groups for IC is close to impossible and when those are PvPlers and my dying rate is *** HIGH..... I cannot get any gear at the vendor nor anything else because i am getting ganked anyway... This is *** sorry,

AT LEAST NOT LOOSE 100% of you Stones to a *** ganker i mean what the hell ? this happens to me not at 10000 stones or anything then i would say, that i gambled to high but it happens always when i have around 1000 stones or less, well, my opinion is easy

*** update *** DLC

well lost 3400 stones today by a ganker who died 1 sec after me by a mob. so he still earned 3000k stones. will we call that fair?

I pretty much always return to the bank when I have over 500 stones.

Also, if you do the daily quests, you get the Tel Var boxes on top of whatever you gather on your way.

You don't loose 100% of your stones, it got reduced because a few people didn't like that there are consequences to their actions and death is something that should be avoided.
Besides there are enough campaigns, so you can choose one that is not full of enemies. I lately collected all IC skyshards on my Templar without seeing a single enemy for the whole evening.

First you don't lose 100% of your Stones you lose 80%.

Secind as one of those Gankers I really Don't feel bad.Your in a PVP Zone if your not able to defend yourself don't Come to a PVP zone. Its that Simple.Learn to Defend your self.I've lost count how many Time I CCd someone and they did not break free. This is when their not even fighting Mobs. Its simple L2P and your likely to lose less Stones.Buy or craft Immobile pots stay Mobile check your surrounding.Make sure someone in your group watch the back and the way you just came put down mines or caltrops.

Personally be a *** in IC and save your Stones first and foremost. For example If you have 1000+ stones and you are in a group of 5-6 and 3-4 of that Group Dies don't go after the person run and get killed by a Mob am sorry the survivors 7/10 unless that person Resorces are low you won't win.

    You lose 80% not 100%.

    If you can't fight:
Choose a different campaign, make stealth/mobility pots, PAY ATTENTION to your surroundings and if you see an an enemy player, stealth drop pot if need be and gtfo.

Finally buy your stuff with gold if you cannot hang.

PVP SHOULD be in IC - cope or be somewhere else.

Run with a group if you don't feel confident enough. There's always people "lfg" around the base, so just jump in with one of them.
Always make sure to have a shield up. If you're a DK, even igneous is fine - it will stop any initial critical attacks and reduce the damage from their gank attempt by a bit.
Run as much impen gear as you can.
Always, always, ALWAYS carry a sigil of retreat on you. If you make a big score, go somewhere safe and use it to return to base. Don't use it out in the open as it has a cast time, and if a ganker sees you using it, they'll know your pockets are heavy.
Don't spec for PVE. I know you're there to farm mobs, but it is a PVP zone and it's safest to expect you'll run into a player, so make sure you're ready for a fight. That's why my DK made VR16 with a S+B in IC instead of steel tornado spamming mobs. Sure, it was painful, but I was making a lot of stones while grinding and didn't want them stolen ;)
This isn't some dungeon in Orsinium that you can just breeze through. People are there looking to heist, so always be on your guard.

Have to admit, even I smell BS on this one. The only way to gain 1000 stones in 5 minutes is to steal them from another player.

This so much. Vamp is not worth it in IC. I watched a DC sorc tonight kill two AD with one dawnbreaker. He stood there blocking while the DoT killed them at the same time. Probably the most spectacular thing I've seen in a while.

QQ bro, it's a L2P issue. You go into a PvP zone to get to IC and get those stones, expect PvP. So complaining about it is asinine. Either spec for PvP a bit or every time you have like 300-500 or more stones, port back with the retreat stone thing. Simple as that, or just blood port by a mob.

It's real easy to save your stones if you want them, personally I go to IC to get small scale PvP and get stones/items to turn in or decon.

Me and 4 other people killed a full PvE raid group because they were fighting molag, and we killed their healers and they were screwed it was funny as hell.

It WAS supposed to be a PVP update, so it only makes sense that PVP is a thing in there.

I could just as easily make a sour, rotten rant like you did but about how it's hard to PVP in there due to all the PVE mobs and PVE content in the way. But I don't, because when that stuff annoys me or I'm not in the mood for it, I stop going there.

If you don't want to be in a PVP zone, maybe try not going into a PVP zone?

Merely speculation, I'm not actually sure if you get 1k under those circumstances, I don't pay much attention to the stones gained from NPCs tbh..... but having 10k stones on you while you cruise around down there is pretty exhilarating when you are half full of whiskey..... can confirm!!

they did say that it is NOT a pve dlc but a PVP dlc, is that hard to understand? You want stones, get down there and figure out how to pvp. Cant/dont want too? Well, sadly, stay out of IC unless you can get into one of those fancy "lets derp through everything in large groups because derp a derp derp"

I would like to add Personally don't he a Vamp most gankers run Camo Hunter and they will one Shoot you with it.Its a Liability in a PVP zone.

This so much. Vamp is not worth it in IC. I watched a DC sorc tonight kill two AD with one dawnbreaker. He stood there blocking while the DoT killed them at the same time. Probably the most spectacular thing I've seen in a while.
While Vampires still have one of the best Ultimates in the game best ultimate in the game until they fix stuff with Vampire to make it more Viable in PVP it's not worth it.Its just way to easy to be one shooted while being a Vamp.

the point of being a vampire or werewolf is to know that while you have an amazing ulti and ww have some impressive skills when transformed, you run the risk of increased fire damage/poison damage (vamp/ww respectively) as well those skill lines meant to hunt you down. They already dumbed down fire damage for vamps, I dont want to see elder vamps again I really dont.

EDIT for clarity: I dont want vamps buffed, you chose to be the undead, now know the risk and accept it. No more derp mode activate for people please

I wish console got a gated campaign. We paid the same amount as PC users for the dlc.

Am not saying I want Vamp buff either I know some really good players who are Vampires but the free one shot you get from Camp Hunter on Vamps am sure on Werewolves as well but its not as easy is Ridiculous. Am fine with you dealing more Damage to Vamps and Werewolves but it shouldn't be a almost guarantee one Shoot on a person. Its bad Game design.

No we do not We asked for one for a While and ZoS said nothing. I would personally love it and it would be my Home campaign.
