Low FPS/Lagspikes on Sorcerers in PvE?

Hey. Now before you ask my specs etc - I'm on console (ps4.)

I've basically been playing a Templar since I started this game but there's something really annoying that I've noticed happening very often when I'm playing my Sorc. In combat, say I'm in a public dungeon in Orsinium or Maelstrom Arena (normal since he's vet1) after about 10 mins in combat situations, I'll start lagging like crazy whenever I cast AOE spells like Impulse and Endless Fury. If I log out and back in, it's fine for another 10-ish minutes before it kicks off again and this is happening in PvE.

The only way I can describe the lag spikes is like... when I cast either spell, my game freezes for 1 sec like a typical lag spike, or when you're on a PC game and you reach low FPS and it turns into some sort of slideshow....

I am curious to know if this is Orsinium-related only? it's been happening for over a week btw, in other words, all the time - because that's around the amount of time I've spent leveling this Sorc. Does anyone else get this?

I'm not on a console but a PC, so I haven't experienced this problem. It might be that it's related to Orsinium, meaning that the spell effects "funnels up" the CPU and memory and the game struggles to display it all correctly. I had a similar problem in Diablo 3, but that game is notoriously bad build (32 bit executable with a 4 Gb memory capacity).

If it's in all the zones, then it's due to sorcerer spell effects clogging up the memory buffer. If it's only in Orsinium, it's most likely that zone having so many effects in it that it "fills up" the memory buffer, leaving little room for effects of spells. Run a few tests and if it persist, contact Zenimax. Don't know about ESO on PS4, but I reckon there aren't that many options to change the graphics.

Makes sense and yeah, we can't change ANY of the graphic's settings, not that I'm aware of anyway... unless somebody knows how to tune down the graphics through PS itself, I don't know.
