Cross-Faction Group Finder with friends broken?

Been trying for the past twenty or so minutes to create a group with a friend from another faction. Three yellows, 2 DPS and 1 tank, looking for 1 healer. Red friend queues as healer but nothing's happening. It worked flawlessly last night... anyone else having problems or have a solution?

Sorry for the necro, I know this thread is almost two weeks old but I'm also having this issue. Cross-alliance grouping is completely broken for me on EU PS4. The first time I used it, a few days after the update that brought it in, it worked like a charm; it hasn't worked since. I've successfully managed a total of three group dungeons on my EP character with AD guildies, all on that first day; despite multiple attempts since we haven't been able to get it to work again. On the last attempt it put me into the same group of three random EP players (obviously doing the same thing) five times in a row even though my AD guildies were queued, and we gave up. I know we only have to wait until Thieves Guild to get around the problem, but it's frustrating that it worked to begin with but doesn't anymore.

That's weird...works for me on PC(NA). Or well it did a couple days ago at least. I usually have the 4th queue as a tank though, since there're so few tanks out there it usually seems to work faster lol. Then we both start the search at 3 2 1. And are you sure sure you have vet(or nonvet, whatever it is you're queueing for) dungeon selected in the groupfinder window? I mean both in the "choose activity" and the "dungeon mode" on top?

Hopefully you can get it to work. That aside, can't wait til we're able to group up without going through this x_x

Yeah, been getting some weird stuff with the group finder lately.

Been seeing this every time I get thrown into a group any more

Also had it throw a 5 five man group together which is weird.

Feels like the grouping tool doesn't like forming full groups lately. I'll get a three man group, we'll requeue for a fourth and one will be added instantly. It's like "okay why didn't you just form the full group to begin with then!?".
